If he can make better then 56% of his kicks in away games,he will already be better then Cundiff was last year.

That is a very very low bar!

I think Justin would need to get a shovel and dig before he could slide under that bar.

Ok, I can agree that people could be more sensitive to the guy who just told us he'd leave us on a heartbeat, but thats not a reason to question their fanhood. They want Cundiff gone because it was best for the team, and what fan doesn't want what is in our best onterests?
He never said "I ll leave this team in a heartbeat". He said "I will take my services elsewhere".

Which isn't a big deal. And I will call out fans because when he was a pro bowler, several people were up his you know what saying he is the next Matt Stover. He gets injured, plays injured, misses a stupid kick and is the scapegoat for us not going to the SB.

It actually cracks me up.

Are you working on any videos? I think a preseason highlight reel would be pretty cool. :P
I just released a Defensive Montage about 2 weeks ago. YOUTUBE took it down a few days ago though but it will be back up in about 2 weeks.

Im glad Tucker won the job too, I guess you didn't read the first post I made.

It's just like show some couth about someone losing their job, I notice a lot of people do that for several players or coaches. To each their own, I guarantee the front office was professional about it so I don't think they agree with the sentiment of "good riddance"...
If only Billy could have remained professional about it as well......it could have been a completely amicable separation.

But to agree with you in part, there have been some off color remarks in this thread that are not appropriate. Some folks just can't separate the man from the game.

If anyone thought he was the next Matt Stover, they didn't look at his past history. He made the Pro Bowl in 2010 because he led the league in touchbacks on KOs, an accomplishment that is immaterial now with the rule changes.
And he missed 10 stupid kicks on the road last year.
And he choked at the most important point of his career. Doesn't make him a bad guy, just makes him not a Raven.

Yeah that is sick. No one deserves that.
Overall, I believe that releasing Billy and keeping Tucker was the best decision for our football team.
That is it. A person does not deserve to die because of a game! I am truly shocked that someone from our fanbase would say such a diabolical thing. I bet they were also the same ones saying he was the next Stover.
Even I was on the Billy Cundiff bandwagon in 2009 and 2010. Also I must apoligize for my initial burst of excitement when I first heard of his release, as well as my failing to acknowledge the posotive things about Cundiff in the Justin Tucker thread.
Although I was definitely annoyed by some of his recent comments, I do sincerely wish him luck in his future.
I am also excited for our future with Justin Tucker, who should handle our duties very capably for years to come.
Go Ravens!

I honestly thought our staff was going to get it wrong and let Tucker go. I don't think they're incompetent but sometimes we don't always put the best players on the field and the fans are left scratching their heads.

I was afraid Tucker kicking in the whole PS3 was because Billy had the job and his "experience" was enough to keep him here.

So happy they got it right this time. I will never forget Billy's first game at the bank when he made a FG,which Haushka couldnt, the crowd erupted in joy almost as if he nailed a 70 yarder to win the Super Bowl lol.

Who in the hell would say such a thing? Hopefully nobody on these boards, because they need to be banned if so.

Ah dang. My favorite player cut. Oh well. Billy is a great guy and I'm glad he had apro bowl year with us and set an touchback record. I will cheer for you Billy always. Good luck man! Gotta get used to Tucky.
He is a great person. No one can argue that. Wasn't thrilled with his latest comments to the media, but in hindsight, he probably saw the writing on the wall by then. Everyone needs to remember that he saved us from "he who will not be named" and gave us his best season in 2010. Plus, he gave of his time and money for charity around Baltimore. I think this is the best move to both the Ravens & Billy because it would get ugly if he missed another big kick. I wish Billy the best in the future, except when he plays us, of course.

Now...Congratulations Justin Tucker!!!! This kid must be floating right now!

They wouldn't dare to post on here cuz they'll know they will break the record of most neg reciever of all time and then a ban afterward......

Anyways, I think in any fanbase there is always a small group of fanatics and convicts, so as long as yourself don't follow those convicts you are good....

Interview with Tucker was pretty good. Said he never missed a 4th quarter kick in College and his strength is clutch kicking...

Imagine how loud the Bank is going to be when Tucker makes his first Game Winning Kick in the 4th Quarter.

Exactly now what I can't wait to see, if we get put in the same position as last year and it comes down to a Field Goal to go to the Super Bowl and and Tucker makes the field goal to send us to the Super Bowl.

Man I wish Customized jerseys weren't so much. $150 for a customized jersey? Well it don't matter, I'll pay $150 to have my own Tucker Jersey and it will be worth it!

This, and it's bound to happen. I just hope he can keep his percentage upwards around 85% or better and I will be extremely happy.
