It's all how you spin it really. I mean you would be mad too if you were the starter and they don't give you an equal opportunity to kick all game. But it's whatever, some people see it differently, interested to see final cuts.

Would I be mad? Yes. At the same time, they gave him equal opportunity, throughout the preaseason and training camp. Tucker just plain out kicked him.

And perfect example of what I am talking about lol

Reading your post and BloodRaven's back to back gave me a good laugh.

I'm glad Tucker won, he clearly outplayed Billy and has more upside. I'm not bitter with Cundiff though.

This really is the best thing for the team . If Cundiff started missing even a few kicks
at M & T the boo birds would be out in force .

This is not good for the psyche of the team . Period .

Now I actually want to watch the PS4 game just to see how Justin does, lol. I thought Billy was gonna get that whole game and then get to keep his job. So happy I was wrong.

Honestly, I do not see why you guys think he was so good? I guess you are just paying your respect to the man.
Cundiff wasn't that good . His career stats on field goal success are average at best .

Congrats to JT. Billy will be picked up by another team. He hasn't had a bad camp, it's just that Tucker had a nearly flawless camp. I think a fresh start is good for both sides.

With the exception of Billy's comments last Thursday night, he has been a class act his entire time with us. Overall I think he was a great guy. He just missed one important kick and I wish him well. That being said, I am excited for Tucker to start and I hope he lives up to the potential you guys lead me to believe he has.
I'm going to be mad if Tucky doesent live up to what people said he will be.

Yeah I was like perfect example lol

Yeah don't get me wrong, I wanted Tucker to win it. Anytime you can get younger, healthier and cheaper, I am fine with that

Just remember to temper your enthusiasm for this news by keeping in mind that a fine young man with a family has just lost his job. Yes, we want the best for our team, but these are human beings, not robots.

Hard to feel sorry for a guy who stands to make roughly $400,000 for sitting on his butt. He's going to try to get another position, which pays more money than a good chunk of people can make in decades. Don't try to make cut players out to be martyrs.

He was given an equal opportunity all offseason and the majority of preseason. Week 3 is considered dress rehearsal, so Tucker was kicking. Who knows, maybe had Billy not said anything, he'd be on the team still and kicking all of the final preseason game before a decision was made. I'm not saying that is the case, no one will probably ever know.

Actually, Billy's "it's a competition with myself" comments were before the Jags game. He just got a little more perturbed after that game. You can call him classy all you want, and sure he was. But as soon as he has some competition, he changes. This might not even had been a real competition at first, just bringing in a new leg to bring the best out of Billy, and look what happens. Whatever though, what's done is done.

Could you have imagined the fan's reaction to the first kick he missed at M&T if he had won the kicking competition??

It would have made Philly sports fans look like angels!

No matter how bad any other team's fans get, there are no worse sports fans than those in Philly.

By the way, The Fake ESPN might be the best thing on Twitter.

I like it thats very classy of you but really I'm not gonna feel sorry for a guy thats probably gonna make roughly 8X as much as me when he's not playing then on top of that probably sign with another team where he'll make probably another 1/2 million when I to have a wife and a 3 month old baby to provide for to
