But it's already Sunday

All though you might not have left on the best of terms Billy, I wish you good luck in the future.
Glad to have Tucker aboard though.

I saw this coming a mile away, and the writing was on the wall when Billy was benched for the entire Jacksonville game. I'm glad Tucker won the job though. Young kid with a great leg, it's nice to be set at the kicker position for (hopefully) a long time.

Good luck, Justin, happy to have you on board.

Saved some cap space and got younger. Tucker should of been drafted honestly. Seems very athletic and has a nice boot.

Good luck to you Cundiff, shame some fans (and I use that term loosely) will remember you for a botched kick and the scape goat of a game we lost as a team instead of setting a record in your pro bowl season with most kick backs. You obviously never got over that groin injury. You were a man after that game and confronted your critics for your team and to show your children how to face problems and admit when you made a mistake. So much class.

And I know people are going to say "Good Riddance!" and "he sucked, glad he is gone" but do realize that he at least spoke to the media and admitted his mistake, where was Rice or Evans? Why didn't Harbaugh get enough crap for not calling that timeout?

That's all in the past, I just hate getting on a guy for doing the right thing after making a mistake. And if Ray Lewis aint blaming it on one guy, I cant either.

Good riddance. He really showed his true colors in recent weeks, no wonder he's such a spineless choke artist.

And perfect example of what I am talking about lol

Part of me wants not to believe it until it shows up officially here or on nfl.com. The other part of me feels like a kid in a candy store. If it's not true, it's the meanest joke ever.

Just remember to temper your enthusiasm for this news by keeping in mind that a fine young man with a family has just lost his job. Yes, we want the best for our team, but these are human beings, not robots.

Thank you.

And then he went and became quite the jerk in the media recently, just from having a competition with someone. Billy didn't even have the "class" to acknowledge Justin at all, and said it was only a competition with himself.

It's all how you spin it really. I mean you would be mad too if you were the starter and they don't give you an equal opportunity to kick all game. But it's whatever, some people see it differently, interested to see final cuts.

With the exception of Billy's comments last Thursday night, he has been a class act his entire time with us. Overall I think he was a great guy. He just missed one important kick and I wish him well. That being said, I am excited for Tucker to start and I hope he lives up to the potential you guys lead me to believe he has.
