This site, it is listed as a rumor. Someone posted on Twitter under the name ColtsInsider that the team was trying to acquire Wes Welker

When Payton left, half of the team sort of fled.

I am really getting angry at all the praise they are getting though, even though they didn't even play one regular season game yet. Everyone is already booking both those guys as future stars of the NFL.

Well they were both drafted #1 and 2 overall...They both look more then ready, both have crazy skillsets...

They both have a ton of potential to be stars, they're playing really well for just being rookies, and they will only get better. I'm leaning alot more for them to be stars, then busts.

That's nice. But it doesn't mean it's not annoying when everyone gives them high praise even when they have not earned it yet.

I love RG3's attitude. Luck has more tools with him right now... and Irsay say's he's ready to open the check book. That helps in the near term. I think overtime RG3 does it.

I'd say RG3 has more weapons this season. In the long run Luck will be better. Both should have alot of success though.

RG3 will get crazy hype. I think a lot of people will conveniently forget that RG3 played against a Saints team that was heading into this season with serious issues (hard to replace Sean Payton), while Luck was playing a very well balanced Chicago team with a good offense and defense, which should get deep into the playoffs imho.
RG3 was great, don't get me wrong, but I am curious how good he will look by the end of the season. I expect both Luck and Griffin to have a rough time, like every rookie QB has in this league, but there is no way the media won't immediately blow things out of proportions after just the first week. I fully expect Cam Newton levels of hype around RG3.

Silence infidel! This season is over. The Skins won it already! Montana and Bradshaw just gave all their rings to RG3 in awe of his greatness. Thanks to him I can walk again and my baby boy can see. Recognize him as your lord and savior and even you shall be healed!!!

They did the same with Cam Newton last year. You noticed that Cam did nothing today and so once teams get enough tape on RG3, they will stop him and he'll be a human again.

You guys still can't deny the fact that RG3 looked amazing yesterday despite being in a hostile environment. He played better then the majority of QBs, and outplayed Drew Brees. I know it's still early but rookie QBs don't look like that. They don't look so comfortable and poised like that in their debut game. Griffin was as cool as a cucumber.


Luck had to face one of the toughest defenses in the NFL on the road. Plus with fewer weapons then RG3 and with a little bit more crappier o-line.

Luck will bounce back. But yesterday RG3 looked like a vet.

I think Luck will have a stronger career over RG3. I'm just worried RG3 will end up like Vick, trying to do too much and get a season ending injury.

However, RG3 is playing VERY SMART for a rookie. So there's still hope. It's a shame Washington traded so much to get him.

Personally, I think Indianapolis will rue the day they passed on RGIII for Luck. RGIII is not a Vick clone. He has actual pocket skills and, so far at least, realizes his main job is to pass the ball when he drops back and not take off running. I'm not saying Luck will not eventually be a good QB. I just don't think he is everything everyone tries to claim.

I just don't get why people think the Redksins gave up to much for him. They [b]needed[/b] him. For the next 2 years they'll be without a first, big deal? They now have their QB and plenty of weapons around him. I say the nly two weaknesses on the Redskins is their offensive line and secondary. Those problems can be fixed after round 2 in the next two drafts. Also, they'll probably go FA crazy if they have the cap space to. I think they're a good young team on the rise, about the same pace as the Bengals maybe but in a tougher division.

Mainly focused on RG3 and Luck here....

Rushing stats-
RG3- 20 attempts, 124 yards, 2 TDs
Luck- 6 attempts, 30 yards, 0 TDs
Wilson- 12 attempts, 48 yards, 0 TDs

Redskins, 1-1
Colts, 1-1

Skins may have had another win if #11 wouldn't have dropped that wide open perfectly placed bomb by RG3, or if Josh Morgan wasn't an aggresive idiot.

RG3 is currently #1 in most fantasy leagues, Luck #20.

So far, I must say. RG3 looks a lot better than I expected. Just like how Cam surprised me last year, I really didn't think he would look so comfortable and poised throughout 2 games. He's also feisty! Getting in the faces our defensive lineman and all. Also one more thing, he might be the fastest QB I've ever seen.

I predict that RG3 will have another great performance. Coming into the season I loved the Bengals defense and was scared of them, but so far they've made Joe Flacco and Brandon Weeden look like Rodgers and Brady.

I could see it going the other way, but hopefully Redskins win. I also like Jaguars D coming into the season, but they too look horrible. I see Luck having his first 3 TD performance.

RG3 & Tannehill joined Cam Newton as the only three Rookie QBs to throw for 1,000 in their 4 games. Doesn't really mean much, Luck could of done it if he played last week. I'll throw up stats after Luck gets his 4th game in next week.


...I plan on doing this throughout both of their careers on here... lol
