Ravens Uniform #23

Ravens uni's were ranked number 23 out of all of the NFL teams. Nice change of pace topic instead of everyone arguing over players and other such things. Thoughts?

I think they give nostalgia too much credit. All their top teams are the old NFL ones.
Basically strikes me as just an old, effeminate man going "nneh, the past was much better".

I love that our jersey's pay homage to the city and state with the shoulder patches of the Calvert and Crossland Crests. And I ALWAYS get pumped for the games when we rock the all black unis.

I know this is stupid but I just realized that the 'B' on the helmet faces different directions during the last preseason game. I know it has to be reversed inside the raven head to make it legible but I think it just looks ugly when looking at the helmet from the left...

I love our uniforms. The darkness strikes fear into opponents because they know they will be playing the Baltimore Ravens. Here are my favorite combos:
Blackout
Black pants, purple jersey
Black jersey, white pants
White pants, purple jersey
Whiteout
Black pants, white jersey
White pants, purple jersey
I'd like to see them where the white pants and purple jersey a few times early in the year and then go with the black pants with the purple jersey as the main uniforms for the rest of the year. I love the blackout, but it looks so great at night so it should stay that way.
I think we should have been ranked higher.
I liked the Reeboks better than the Nikes.

Yeah, good points. We probably would have kept that old 1990s logo had those legal wranglings that nobody wants to talk about not taken place. I liked that one better; it's just one logo, not two.

I think the Nike uni is growing on me.

I wish we got purple pants to go with our white unis cause the black pants make it look uneven.

Clearly my tastes are completely different from the author's.
IMO the best, in no particular order:
Ravens, 49ers, Lions, Steelers, Redskins

IMO, the ugliest are:
Cowboys (light grey and white just looks like fog and overcast to me)
Browns (can't imagine I need to elaborate on this)
Broncos (at least they improved over the old orange crush unis)
Colts (only the Browns have put in less effort in a helmet design)
Giants (looks like they're involved in their own personal civil war reenactment with every play)

I don't think the white jersey and black pants look that bad. Sure they are a bit uneven, but they are still good.
The purple pants and white jersey combo would look OK, but I can't really imagine purple pants with the other jerseys.
Edit: There are plenty of black pants and white jersey images that are better than that one.
