Look, I don't see Tyrod starting over Flacco. Clearly he doesn't have nearly the physical gifts (aka dat arm) Joe posses. But I don't really like that we live and die with Joe. You have to be able to depend at least a bit on the back-ups.

You scramble too much, you get hurt a lot. That's why you can't run your way to a Superbowl as a QB. Running QBs are glass cannons. Good stats, but you cannot depend on them. And that's the one thing you need out of a QB. To be able to depend on him.

So if John really likes Cundiff, he is cutting down the possiblity of Cundiff sucking by limiting him to one game.
