Singing in a show in the building

7 posts in this topic

Recently, I began performing in a sort of karaoke show in the apartment building where I live.

The shows are under the Reflections-Music Unlimited banner, and I have been made a regular member of the shows when the shows come to our building, which is once per month. I usually sing eight songs, although I may increase that to nine songs.

So far, my work is turning out very well, and the other tenants in the building rather enjoy what I do.

This is amazing, as I never thought I would be able to sing again after suffering muscle fatigue in the vocal chords six years ago.

I welcome your comments.

I had voice issues from singing after high school, I had laryginitis for 5 months and can't/won't sing any more. I used all my voice training for yelling at the stadium lol
I did not have the time to work on it.

If I did that, some of these people would keel over from the coronaries, as the majority of the people in the building where I live are older folk.

Still, it would shake them up a bit.

Last night's show was pretty good. I performed five songs, including, "New York, New York". I believe that, in a sense, Frank was with me as I performed this one.
