Disgaea 4

Just purchased this game. Won't be playing it til Monday. Anyone have this game or played this game before? Kinda puts me in the mind of FFT

I have Disgaea 3 and I was told that Disgaea 4 was more accessible to series newcomers.

That said, the combat system is similar to FFT. The story is very cartoonish and the leveling system is intentionally absurd (you can go up to Level 9999 -- you read that correctly), but it's fun for people who enjoy quirky games with layers of depth.

It personally didn't do anything to grab me, mainly because I'm so desperate for another Final Fantasy Tactics or Suikoden. But, a lot of my friends love the series and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Ive been waiting for a Suikoden forever! Or just a re release for PS3...
