Generally speaking, starters don't play a whole half or nearly 3 quarters until the third preseason game. Given that the team is carrying at least 3 QBs behind Flacco right now, they probably need to stick in the backups earlier than usual.

Let's be real here...a preseason game is not a good assessment of a team....we can only asses skill....The Ravens Defense and even the secondary once the regular season starts as the coaches will start game planning....they'll shift defenses around and tailor them as they always do and prevent huge gains against our D....Also it's not a fair assessment for the secondary as we have played two teams that are loaded with Freak receivers....Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Calvin Johnson...just trust that when the season starts the defense will shift around with proper game planning and all will be okay

Honestly we need to realistically understand that our defense will at times give up big plays this season... we are going against better QBs and receivers. We also don't have our wrecking machine Sizzle. Not saying this based off preseason just a general statement.
