Week 9: Baltimore Ravens At Cleveland Browns

I have confidence we'll put it in the endzone, but not with the Suggs package. If Flacco + Cam choose a play where Clayton/Heap/Mason is isolated, I have faith that Flacco makes the pass with ease.

Why do we always run out of time when we break out the "Suggs Package"

Harbs is definitely relying on a play that works on 3rd down here.

Flacco has to realize that when they bring six/seven guys, you have to quick release it even if your number one isn't there. Cameron is to blame there because he didn't give Flacco a second option if they blitz and double cover Mason. When they do that, there are THREE guys who will be one on one. Obviously you have Mason as the number one, but make Clayton the designated number two on the other side.

That kind of play is great to have a big TE/WR to quick hit over the middle. Usually only have to break one tackle there to get in the end zone on a quick hitter off a blitz. Unfortunately, we don't have any physical receivers and Heap isn't exactly Earl Campbell in trucking people.

All that being said, credit to Flacco for not forcing it. If Billick had called an isolation pass last year, Boller would have tried to put it into Mason's hands regardless of whether he was triple covered or not.

To keep them out of FG range, we pretty much can't give up another yard. Cleveland should just run it with so many DB's.

I can't remember the last time an opposing kicker missed a kick. And that was a terrible snap.
Any reason why?
I think it was the time between when it was called and when it stopped. That or CBS isn't paying attention.
