Merged: Jersey Buying Discussions

Does anyone know why when I go to NFLshop.com, Nike's website and even our own Team Store website that I can not find a Torrey Smith Jersey. I found a Webb jersey I want but I also want to get a Torrey Smith jersey and rather not have to get a customized Torrey Smith jersey.

It's always been like that. From a business perspective, it makes a lot of sense not to carry a lot of different premade jerseys. Also, unless someone is an absolute star or a high draft choice, you'll see very few premade jerseys for players still on their rookie contract. They don't sell enough of them to justify carrying the inventory.

It's only about $10 more to order what you want. I just received mine yesterday and it came out real nice.

Yes, I would as well. Keep in mind that the Nikes are cut way bigger (at least from said place). For instance, I am used to wearing size 52, but for me, the Nikes are about a 48. FYI

The older Reebok ones (at said place...ha) are old sizing, so whatever you're used to.

So if I liked a 48 I should order a 46? There is no 44, correct?

44 would be the size for Nike (no 46) and that would be a large.

Actually, now that I look...old style 48 is a M, (there is no 46) new style 40 is a M. So should I get a 40???

Sigh. I hate this trial and error crap. Now Ill just order one and sit and wait to see if it fits right.

So.. I'm not too happy that I can't buy a jersey with similar charecteristics to the Reebok Premier line. Nike hasn't released the " Limited" jersey yet..at least not for the Ravens.. What the heck are they waiting for? Anyone have info on this? I would never spend the 250 for the "Elite" jersey and I feel the cheapest option is just that... CHEAP. The "Limited" seems to be the right jersey for me..... BUT THEY'RE not out...

Anybody else mad about this??

AGREED! On every point!

But they actually have some limited Ravens jerseys out - LINK

Only the purple variety and only Rice, Reed, Flacco, and Ray (Ngata is out of stock). Still, progress is progress!

Nike stuff is expensive in general. So there jerseys are gonna be mad expensive as well.
Significantly more than their Reebok counterparts, yes, but the jersey is supposed to be higher quality. Haven't got one yet so I can't judge.

My buddys used to wear 48 Reeboks. If you are buying from said place, buy a 44. They are almost identical when they arrived and we compared old versus new.

Edit - this is for Nike

I'm 26 but basically the same size as any 18-20 year old, and the adult smalls are a little too big on me, so I wear Youth XL which can be hard to find sometimes. It took a lot of trial and error to figure that out, so with these new Nike ones I'm gonna have to go to a store and try them on and see how the different sizes fit before I buy one.

So I'll probably stick with my Chinese knock-off this season and look into getting a new, real one next year. A lot of the knock offs look pretty real until you start looking real hard at it next to a real one to compare the slight differences, which I'm pretty sure no one ever does when out at a bar or a game. And if they are then they should probably be watching the game instead.

Thanks for the intel. Should I use this crazy sizing equation for all reebok to Nike conversions from said place? I'm going to get all my buddies in on this.

Not sure about all, but I would think so.

I am a "normal" (Reebok) size 52, but the 48 (Nike from said place) is perfect. My buddy is a "normal" (Reebok) size 48, but the 44 (Nike from said place) is perfect. I guess just subtract 4???? H
