Tickets

17 posts in this topic

I've never been to a Ravens game before and am going to buy tickets to a game this year. I know games against division teams sell out quickly but what about a game against the jets or rams? Will I need to buy them the same day they go on sale? Also, if I buy them online, do you print the tickets at home, or are they sent to you? Any advise would be appreciated! Thank you! ;)

This website says singles go on sale July 27th http://www.baltimoreravens.com/Tickets/Default.aspx?id=260.

If you do buy tickets on line I would go with a reputable ticket agent like stubhub, STU and if the deal looks too good to be true it usually is. There are E-bay scams every year. I have never heard of printing you tickets on line, I'm pretty sure they send you the tickets since they are scanned at the gate.

Well those "tickets" that go on sale july 27th will sell out in in less the a minute. There arent very many available. One thing i know you can do is the week of the game, any turnback tickets from group sales or opposing team get put on ticketmastet about the thur or fri before the game on sunday. I remember last year every game was "sold out" but a few tickets showed up on ticketmaster for a game or two during the year. Just check the board (ravens scout board is the best for posting that info)

Also you CAN print out tickets. As a PSL holder i can go online and email my tickets to someone, or i lose them i can print them out. They print it out, take it to the gate and they scan the piece of paper. Ticketmaster has a similiar system of printing out your own tickets.

Also the not to keep going back to the Ravens scout board bu they have a ticket section that you cant sell for more the 10% over face value. good luck!

Please clarify this, 1996. Using Ticketmaster, one can download a pdf file of the tickets themselves, never receiving a hard copy. However (unless you know better than I) the Ravens do not provide for downloading the tickets. Rather, one must scan each ticket themselves, then e-mail it. Correct?

T, I believe PSL holders CAN now send electronic tickets through the PSL holders site.

For those looking to buy tickets, there are quite a few available already from TicketsNow. On the main BaltimoreRavens web page, click "Tickets", then click "Ticketsnow" from the drop down menu.

Yep, go to your account on baltimoreravens.com:

Baltimore Ravens Account Manager

This is the online Ticket Account Manager for the Baltimore Ravens. My Ravens Account is your one-stop shop for all online account managing. By managing your account online, you can make payments, forward your tickets to a friend or donate your tickets to charity.

Features

Pay your season ticket invoice online

Forward tickets to a friend via e-mail

Donate your tickets to the Ravens All-Community Charities

Update your email address and phone numbers

When you "forward" tickets to a friend, your hard tickets are "canceled" so they cant be used, and the email tickets are printed and out with a new scan number. I beleive also you an forward them to yourself if you lose the hard ticket, and that way avoid waiting in line to get replacement at will call on gameday. (ive never done either but assume thats the way it works since thats what it says online)

I'm trying to pick up a few extra tix this season. So my question is, would it be better to buy the tickets online through Ticketmaster on the 27th or go to the M&T box office?

On the day that tickets go on sale, they are only available through Ticketmaster. The M&T Stadium box office will be closed that day.

Really??? I was hoping to score a few tickets to the Ravens-Bengals game in November, I guess I had no idea they would sell out so fast. There are a lot of tickets up on TicketsNow, but even upper level corner seats are going for over $100, which seems kind of steep to me.

Bummer. :(

The ravens have never said how many tickets remain when they go on public sale. But i would think its only a couple hundred. The stadium seats 70k. I would think 65-67k of them are psl holders. that leaves 3-5k per game. PSL Holders then get to buy individual games first, i think they would sell another 1-3k to them. Leaving roughly 1000k per game. The ravens hold onto 500 or more for group sales, ravens players, opposing team; leaving about 500 per game. Just a guess on all this of course, but they sell out every year in less then a minute on ticketmaster.

this makes it damn near impossible for broke college/grad school students ,or anyone else who doesn't have enough money to buy PSL's, to buy single game tickets.... oh well... guess i'll be watching on TV again... there's no way i'm paying $30-40+ over face value to buy tix off stubhub or ticketsnow

bigtime sadface :(

Im sure you being a 20 something college girl, youll get plenty of invites to go for free! haha :D

You might want to try other mb's ticket forums, I've had good luck at times. I've also had good luck on ebay, just ask to meet in person on game day ( so you won't have to pay the shipping ) Want ever you do, don't give up, watching at home with good friends can be real fun, or even a local watering hole. Good luck!

naptown, consider going to pre-season games. It's still a lot of fun and tickets can generally be had BELOW face value.
