It's his ankle and he was initially supposed to see some playing time this season, so yeah, he is a Raven

This is a dream situation for Drew, Balasavage, and Figgins. They will get plenty of reps, and plenty of opportunities to make a case to make the team as the #3 TE. If they can't make something happen with this opportunity, they never will.

If Dickson or Pitta are rusty comes Week 1 or arent ready.... We'll see more Spread. Will be a test for LaQuan and Doss.

Won't surprise me if they add a blocking TE and run the ball a lot also. Or just use Reid as Blocking TE and the Combo package.

I think we will do more spread anyway. I kinda doubt they will come out rusty. Dennis and Joe have great chemistry together due to their friendship and Ed always feels motivated to excel, due to feeling a bit left out, I believe. Nothing makes TEs more productive, then them vying for their QBs attention. Good job Joe.

Dickson has some serious potential if he can hang on to the ball.

I like that, during this time, he's working on his footwork. It's nice to hear he's continuing to get better so he's ready when he returns and not just moping around. I don't expect anything less because these guys are professionals, and I'm sure Pitta is doing the same, but it's just nice to hear. Of course, I'd much rather have them both healthy.

The Dickson injury bothers me, since I was really hoping he and Joe could use Pitta's absence to really get on the same page. I guess this just means that we have more of a chance to see who out of Balsavage, Bajema, Figgins, and Drew will hold down that third tight end spot.

You'd prefer Ed and Dennis to keep developing the chemistry with Joe, but if they don't miss any regular season, you take what you can get.

I thought Billy Bajema showed some soft hands, the guy had a presence vs. the Falcons. I wonder how he blocks; Davon Drew is not great at it and his hands have been shaky; I wonder if Bajema might be that third guy for us. We usually go pure blocker, a la Kris Wilson, for the third TE. I don't think Balasavage is making the team, he and WR Dorian Graham had a few drops each.
