Tyrann Mathieu has been dismissed from LSU. He is the first ever heisman finalist I know of that has been kicked off of a team.

Hate to sound like this cause this affects his career but I hope this damages his draft stock and we can land him next year.

He's failed 3 drug tests.. Definitely a risky pick but even still he won't fall to us.. Dude dominated games in the SEC as a so. ... That's not easily done

Could definitely see him slip to the second round now, but I wouldn't be suprised if a team in the late first round took a risk on him if he proves that he's been drug free after being kicked out of LSU. haha but I don't see him being able to do that

All he has to do is stay healthy Have another good year for a random FCS school and have a few good pre-draft interviews and someone will pick him early..

He is definitely too much of a game changer to let slip into the second round, but with the way teams have handled players with these type of issues in the past, I expect him to at least fall to the late first round.

Oops started a thread in the draft forum about this, but here was my take:

He was dismissed for violating team rules, although the specifics have yet to be released. If he was dismissed for a positive drug test it's possible he would not be eligible to even play for a FCS school this season.[/font][/color]

I was mostly trying to refer to his drop in draft stock....but I'm not to sure about the talent. He Has a nose for the ball and unrivaled instincts but his basic football skills are lacking in my opinion. Watch some game tape instead of his highlights and you'll leave unimpressed. I'll give him credit where its due though, for a corner he tackles fearlessly and is a sure tackler, but his coverage skills are lacking.

I live in Arkansas.. The area of the country where 5 year olds live and breathe college football..

I've seen plenty of tape on him. He's a player
