1st Game of 2012 Preseason

Williams is still overrated, he's too stiff in transition and only good to put on slow receivers. Everyone else had tight coverage (even on Julio) but the pass breakups werent happening.

McKellan lhas no future on the outside, even at camp he was getting stoned by the 3rd stringers. Kindle needs to get stronger.

I always new B.A was fast but I didn't know he was [i]that[/i] fast. 35 years old too, go figure. McClain doesn't look any quicker with his weight loss.

Largely that was because we gave up so much pressure up the middle. Having a rookie Center playing his first game hurt us. And we didn't execute on a couple blocks.

Watch it twice.....our starters looked bad, i know its preseason but we cant get a 1st down till the 2nd quarter???? We had the same problems last year. The rookies looked better then the starters!

[/quote]McBean isn't necessarily a starter but he's slated to see significant playing time as a run stopping defensive tackle. He's a mountain of a man and showed production at Chicago. The injury is a blow.

What really surprised me the most out of everything was that we ran a 5 WR set in the Red Zone, hope to see that in the regular season but i'll hold my breath because Cam did the same kind of plays in the preseason last yr. (bunch formations) and stopped for no reason.

I really want to see those kind of plays more.

Our o line must play better, having D lineman getting to Joe untouched is never a good sign but i guess you could blame that with miscommunication. (i hope)

Flacco looked pretty good considering he was pressured the whole night. Let hope the F.O figures out the Oline and we should be good to go. Don't know what to think about the Defense yet.

We will get a better idea about everything after the 3rd preseason game.

While he did play better than expected, do you really think he will be our number 2 over T.Taylor. It would be pure stupidity , Taylor can throw and has Great pocket awareness that you can't just can't teach. He is always keeping the plays alive.
Imo, Painter just isn't that good with the history he has had playing with the Colts, he did have a good game but lets be honest. He was playing against guys that we just trying to make the team and Rookie Free Agents.

If i had to pick between an extra QB ( Painter ) or an extra Kicker (Tucker), it would be Tucker all day.

Cary is gonna be fine, he went up against one of the best young receivers is the league who is a freak athlete. He had hip surgery in the off-season and has still been rehabbing throughout training camp. He was probably a little stiff and rusty when he got out there, but he'll loosen up and will be fine.

Doss, Streeter, Reed ,Payne in a mix for 6. Since I don't see us keeping 6 receivers , I think we PS Streeter and cut the rest.

Bobby Rainey is a hell of a weapon, I see him making the team over a 6th WR who will see zero play time and since we will have 2 or 3 rbs already, I don't see us having a 6th WR and a 4th rb

No he is t versatile I just find it I trig using that a guy many felt could t stretch the field last yr was allowed to show his ability to.
Simply put I think we may keep him a d use taylor as more than just a backup qb
