Are You Serious?!?

31 posts in this topic

Im all for the average Joe.. But I never expected it from a 5-2 team.. Nonetheless, theres not much talent in Pitt.. why not just throw some random guy off the street in? Makes sense right?... I know I know.. it's not really THAT important of a job.. still though.. I find it interesting. Only in Pennsylvania..

They had him in camp earlier this year. This is what happens to guys when they don't make the team. Better examples are Kurt Warner (Super Bowl Champ) and Randall Cunningham (NFC Champ runner-up). I'm sure that if you searched the Ravens history, you'd find some of the same...., In fact, you guys cut James Harrison, he was doing nothing and we brought him in.

I think he actually went on to sign with Jacksonville. Since they have so many injuries.

sure did, and they were talking about his great size. But I'm not sure if hes starting or not... I know they just had another Guard go down for the season with a broken hand. Third guard they lost this year, crazy

I prefered the story when I saw the title, and I thought some random Sofa lifter who had never played football just thought to himself ' Long Snapping, that sounds easy...' and showed up to Pittsburgh's training facillity.

I can tell by the way you express your feelings about the Ravens you are just like one of the guys (no offense).
It's actually a good thing. Not many women are into football like you, ya also have alot of football knowledge too.

i wish my gf was big into football like you are lmao

She HATES it. She'll only come to my games. Im lucky she even tolerates that. :P

Yea, most young girls do hate football. I guess they get too caught up in trying to "fit in".. my brother was always big into it.. so it just came natural to me, especially since I grew up being the little sister around his friends

We know you're in the contest.
No need for goofy threads.
Get serious?Former couch lifter?
The guy's been long snapping for years,
as usual when cut from the squad he "got a job".
So people who work for moving companies are "couch lifters" ?

Just a reminder

Idiotic statement to say the least.

Guys Girls that love football and actually understand the sport are far and few between. If you are lucky enough to have one hold on to her. It makes life so much better on game day.

It's just a lighthearted thread, man. It's also tangentially related to football, unlike your ad hominen attack.

Not that you don't have a point, but what do you expect? Whenever I post anything about utilizing the SAM, MIKE positions, gap responsibility, angles of pursuit, the comparative benefits of tampa-2 vs. dollar-man, a player's hip roll and so forth it gets rolled right over with nonsense posts consisting of one sentence and an emoticon. It's a forum for largely casual fans.

A prodigy such as yourself should know that "Get serious" is a commanding, not interrogative statement. Thus, a period, not question mark, should follow. Implying idiocy in others sets an awfully high standard to follow.

If you're going to play the browbeating intellectual role, use correct punctuation and conceal your envy with greater proficiency. You won't increase your chances in that contest with posts such as this.

Well, I mean this boy if making me feel like I never post meaningful threads.. which is a straight up lie. I just thought other ravens fans might find it interesting to know this little tidbit about the steelers team.. after all, they are arguably are most hated rival.
