Practice Squad Question

I will use Laquan Williams for an example. He made our active roster last season. Say he doesn't this season. Because he has made an active roster does that mean he has lost his PS elgibility?

I think that is how it works but I'm not sure either.

If you have been on an active roster for 9 or more games in a season or have more than one accrued season (six or more games), you are no longer eligible for the Practice squad.
