Our first quarter was terrible, but I was really impressed with guys like Justin Tucker, Bobby Rainy, and something Brown. Our backups were great and we got 4 turnovers.
Justin Tucker split the uprights all but once.

You've never seen me get excited about someone getting sick. That was unfortunate. I'm not a fan of Troy Smith, but I'm not going to be happy about his illness, or worse thanking God because another man contracted an illness. I don't think you meant that either, but your words imply it.

one pre season game last year and I knew Pagano was going to be awesome.
I dont have that feeling at all with Pees.

I'm still always surprised by the people who think year after year that we actually show anything important with our starters...

Our starters get some game time to get back into the swing of things and young guys fight for a roster spot.. Nothing more/nothing less

Its the first season and the falcons do have one of those offenses so im not too worried. Julio was after all a 4th overall pick. He was bound to explode. Covering Julio and Roddy isnt easy. Easing Cary back in and with Jimmy injured, along with are main pass rushers injured and something like that first quarter was bound to happen. I wouldnt put too much stock into it defensively.

The offense, despite reports, has looked no different than it always has really. The o line was okay better than expected considering it started two rookies. A standout to me was Thompson. The kid can play. He really needs to see the field more ie Cam has to start calling 3-4 wide sets. That alone should help Flacco tremendously.

Announcers have messed up pretty much every name and the refs well yea

Julio Jones is no slouch, and tonight was Cary Williams' first real action since his hip surgery, so I don't read much into this at all... let's hope Jimmy is ready for next Friday.

I was on until 4, I watched the Bear-Bronos I changed channels when I saw it was our game lol Sometimes all you can do is shake your head, laugh and move on. If we see the same crap next Friday, then I may be a bit concerned. Watching Eagles-Steelers isn't much better then our game.
The poor refs were so pitiful they thought we were playing the Cardinals lol AND if I hear 'spot foul' one more time I will hit something

I didn't see the game but from what I've read it's good to see the first team wake up..a sleeping giant I think...and its good to see the newby's step up. I can't wait to see the changes in the next game!.

I know this is only a preseason game and everything, but the thing i was most disappointed with was the fact the starters showed the total slump series. It reminded me of the games last year when we lost to below average teams on the road. I'm not hating, just speaking my mind. I did like the fact Flacco was decisive and had a much quicker release than last year. If our O-line can't hold up we might have to become a passing first team, and I certainly think Flacco can do that.
