I try to be an optimist, but I really felt like all three lines did solid. In the first quarter Gino's youth showed. It looked like he struggled in picking up the blitz and calling protections. Oher looked great. KO looked solid. I'm happy.

Weird how our FA/Rooks shined, and our starters didnt. I understand it pre-season and the unproven has to earn it's stripes but come on man, regular season is weeks away!

I knew Painter had a decent shot at making the team, and I knew that he was probably a better start then Tyrod ONLY because of experience. But I wasn't sure, because of all Harbaughs praise for Tyrod. Will that change? I guess we'll see.

I think both we'll be given a shot, but if Painter keeps playing like that, it will be hard for Harbaugh not to consider him as the backup. I don't think we will see much more from Taylor than we've already seen. He has no pocket presence and our o-line is not athletic enough to run with him.

Not a bad second half. I don't think that Harbaugh is happy about how the first half went except for that scoring drive by Flacco. We really had a hard time stopping the Falcons from scoring until the backups came in. Overall, I'll take the win for what it's worth. Painter, Tucker, Bajema, Rainey, Thompson, and Brown were good.

I do know a lot of team history, particulary the Harbaugh, Flacco, Rice, era.

And a little of the Superbowl year.
