Rainey's gonna make the team. On paper it might not make as much sense to have a backup RB built the same as the starter (a bigger guy like Allen would seem to be ideal to get the short yardage that rice has difficulty with) , but hey, he's making plays.

I believe Painter just made a compelling case for himself. All kidding aside. He played against the same scrubs as Taylor, but he looked like a real QB out there.

I was talking about Rainey in the Free Practice thread. He was all over the place at M&T that day too. Everytime you heard a name called it was Rainey.

I just love the energy he brings. Its a contagious energy.

Depth comes down mostly to drafting, and there are few teams better at that than the Ravens. I would say we have better depth than most teams.

That's because of veterans not caring about preseason. Ed Reed for example, won't do anything in a preseason game, but in practice he's making plays.
