I originally heard "CFL" and figured he was a nobody. After watching some of his game play footage I'm actually thinking he might be my new dark-horse to make the roster.

He's very aggressive and instinctual despite being a little raw.
He has a very high motor.
He has a nose for the ball.
He almost reminds me of a poor-mans Troy Polamalu (except at Backer of course) as far as play style.

I think he's a long shot to make it, but the coachs may like his intangibles and keep him around. I also think that because Suggs is out we'll be doing a pass rush by commitee type thing early on. Being a pash rusher, I think that improves his chances slightly.

He played emotional, like a Raven. I like him and would really like to see him do well. He's gonna have to really out play some of these young guys like Williams, Carr, and McClellan.

Can't wait to see how this battle pans out.

He is a guy I will be watching closely in the preseason, interetested to see if he can bring a new dynamic to the pass rush.

Remember, Cameron Wake is the exception, not the rule.

It's cool to get excited about a guy, and I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what he can do. I'm just not ready to say he'd be an immediate backup entering Week 1.
