I wonder how long it can survive. I think they drag things out too much now for the Hell of it. I see that hurting the show the most. The deaths aren't even surprising. Neither Glenn nor Abraham shocked me. I think I would've only been shocked had Negan brought out Rick's daughter and made him mutilate her like he threatened to do to Carl.

That's kind of how I saw it.  While I didn't expect 2 (until Daryl did what he did, of course), it was the obvious 2.

I honestly don't think there is an endgame for TWD, I'm sure I read somewhere that ratings peaked in season 5.

I call Abraham being one of them,  but Glenn kind of came out of nowhere to me.   I'm pretty over this show, it's the same narrative every season/episode: here's what we want to do and not do,  someone does what they aren't suppose to do,  people die, repeat.

Really?  A tiger?  TWD brought it way back down with tonight's episode.  Just seems so stupid.  I get that it's in the comics and all, but the whole "kingdom" thing just seems way over the top.

I would of said the same thing, until I heard King Zeke's explanation at the end of the episode.  At this point im kind of over TWD, but I only have that show and Westworld to watch which im loving Westworld.

Even with the speech, the whole thing just felt way too nonsensical to me.  I can see how it would work for a comic book, but for a TV show, I think you need to bring that down a bit.  It felt so out of place to me.

Yea, I mean, I agree to an extent.  I've never read the comics and if you say its in the comics I can see them wanting to keep some things, but a tiger seems a little much, why not just a really big dog.  The show is just too repetitive for me and I think its ran its course, they really are beating it into the ground.  At this pace there is no ending to it other than Carl dying, because I could see them killing rick of.

Yeah I've never read them either. Seems to me at least that it's something you alter for TV. I can definitely see how something like that would work in a comic, but am I really supposed to believe this guy just chills with a tiger all day?  As soon as I saw that, I just shook my head. I think Ezekiel could be a good character, but I get the sense that they're going to overdo him and his different personality.

To be fair....Tigers are very popular as pets in the Middle East, pets as in, sleeping the bed, just chilling around the house.  With the story he gives, i can somewhat see it, honestly.  Hell, there is a guy (cant remember what country) that saved a croc and they are best friends now.  There is the Lion Whispered, Kevin Richardson i believe his name is, who will just go out into the wild and walk up to a pack of lions.  But yea.....its a little much still lol

Sunday night's episode of Westworld was absolutely fantastic.  Maeve's tour through the workings of Westword was a fantastic scene, and Thandie Newton absolutely stole that episode.

He was the victim in the comics.

I think TWD can survive another 6 seasons, provided they focus on the characters and not just make them do the same arbitrary stuff. People doing things isn't good storytelling.

Personally I found Abrahams death more poignant, I always knew Glenn was going to die and die that way but man I really wanted to see Abes relationship with Sasha fleshed out.

No way in hell I could make it through another 6 seasons...and enjoy it.  It's becoming so repetitive and I find most characters annoying now.  But I'm excited to watch neegan

That finale of AHS... awful.  They really jumped the shark with this one.  I liked the concept of the first 5 episodes, but it went downhill fast after the big "surprise" or whatever they want to call it.

Does anyone here remember a program titled, "The Defenders"?  It aired on CBS from 1961 to 1965, and it starred E.G. Marshall and Robert Reed.

TWD stays weak, but I've invested this much time into so I guess I'm in for the long haul.  But really... do we need a full episode of Tara and that Heath guy?  Sure, let's add another storyline/location to a season that already has too many tangents...

It was literally "remember those characters?"

I get why they did it, which was really to show that there are means of getting weapons, but still... did we need a 70 minute episode of this?

Im in the same boat.  Im so done with this show but ive spent so much time on it, seems like a waste to give up now.  It just gets so old, the exact same thing every episode.  Id rather see the entire series follow Neegan at this point, they really ruined this show, cant really pin-point when it went downhill

And yeah, I'll follow this up and agree.  Too many shows have been lacking this fall, but Westworld is rising to the top.  There might be a little lack of logic and some story holes at times, but the overall concept and acting have been carrying this show.  Thandie Newton got her chance to shine last week, and they let Jeffrey Wright and Anthony Hopkins take it this week.

It can certainly be a bit confusing at times, but I don't need straightforward answers at every turn.  I like the thought process in these types of shows.

Hopkins is such a great actor, he kills every role and I like how you can kind of question is he a good guy or a villain at this point.

What holes or issues do you see?

The whole Elsie thing is the big one to me.  For how much they stressed how much of a watchful eye they keep on the park, I have a hard time believing she could just disappear and no one could question it until now.

That and the previous episodes where Maeve was just walking around with Felix.  Goes back to the watchful eye, and I have a hard time believing no one would notice that she wouldn't be there.

Regardless, it's still a great show.  They definitely take their liberties in some storylines to create another, but that's not a bad thing.  It's just not completely rooted in logic.

Yea I agree completely.  Also, I even forgot about Elsie...
