I just wish.I could see more Michael C. Hall. He's honestly good enough to be a big time movie start one day. Either as a hero or villain.

Yea,  ssdly he hasn't done much..

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one around here that watches it, but You're the Worst just put out another perfect episode. In a season on a downward spiral, they needed an episode like this to bring it back up. I've always loved the ability to complete strip away the comedy and focus on real life emotional issues. Desmin Borges deserves some awards for a gripping performance.

I have run out of shows to watch since Ray Donovan and Ballers is over. What else is there?  Sell me on Peaky Blinders

Just started Luke Cage. Really enjoying it so far. I quite like the soundtrack as well. Westworld pilot was great. Show is going to be crazy.

I DVR'd Westworld.  Looking forward to catching it tonight.  It looks like pure insanity.

Westworld was incredible

Watched it last night and I think I'm in for the long haul on this one.  Not often a pilot can reel me in like that.  Usually it takes me a few episodes to determine if I like something or not.

My one concern is that I think I'm going to struggle with being able to differentiate the hosts and the guests.  I'm curious as to how guests can tell other guests apart as well, but I guess we'll get some of these answers in time.

Yea i know what you mean,  the moment at the beginning it panned out and you could see the idea of what the show is,  I was blown away.   I'm most likely going to watch it again just to understand it better.   But I'm already sold on it

That's the moment it got me, too.  I love the transition between the old western town and the futuristic lab.

Caught up on Westworld again last night.  Still seems like it's going to be a really good show, and it officially has me hooked after just 2 episodes.  I am a little bit worried about the longevity of the show, but I'll enjoy it while it's here.

Designated survivor is really losing steam just 3 episodes in. An interesting idea but the pace they set in the first episode just couldn't be kept

I used to like those types of shows until I discovered the likes of HBO, Showtime, FX, etc.  It made me realize just how corny all of those network TV shows really are.

Atlanta is still killing it.  All of the comedy is so subtle, but so real at the same time.

I still love FX for letting their show runners do whatever they want.  Pretty sure Atlanta dropped like 30 f-bombs last night.

I need to check that out still, I guess ill wait until its done, right now I have Westworld and that's about it.

Anyone see Glitch on Netflix, its rather interesting to say the least, it kept my interest through 6 episodes, the first season.

Not sure if I like what AHS did in episode 6 or not.  It wasn't that big of a twist, at least not to the point that it was going to blow our minds like it was made out to be.

TWD is straight up weak with this.  Further proof that they just keep spiraling more and more downhill.

I was convinced they were going to let it ride the full episode when I typed out the first post lol

Hope they keep it like this though.  Go for the stock and suspense.  Stop with caring so much about character development.

They need to focus on developing just a few. Last season I think they went overboard with development.

I actually feel a little sick typing this out. Phew.

Yeah.  Don't completely ignore it of course, but we don't need those long episodes of nothingness.

Good episode though.  Started very questionable but they brought it around.

Jumped the shark?

Yes the Neegan climax is a gimmick, but if that is what the storytelling has boiled down to then they've taken the easy way out with their choices, both were mentally strong characters with heavy foreshadowing so the emotional impact and shock value isn't there. If they really wanted to shake things up then it should have been Daryl and Maggie.

One of the things I'm struggling with in regards to TWD is that they've killed off so many of the main original characters.  There are so few left, and to be honest, so few are even likable anymore.  I get that it's a show about the downfall of humanity and doing what you can to survive, but it just seems a little to over the top now.  They want you to root for a group that is really no different than Negan's group, other than the fact that it's much smaller.  Rick and crew are a bunch of ruthless killers themselves.  It's weird to say, but I didn't even really bat an eye during the gore last night.  It's almost become expected.  While it shocked some people, most of the comments I've seen around the internet are that people weren't surprised.  If their big reveal after 8 months didn't shock a large majority people, it definitely doesn't bode well for the future of the show.

I wonder how long it can survive. I think they drag things out too much now for the Hell of it. I see that hurting the show the most. The deaths aren't even surprising. Neither Glenn nor Abraham shocked me. I think I would've only been shocked had Negan brought out Rick's daughter and made him mutilate her like he threatened to do to Carl.
