With all the football on I feel like there's no time for shows anymore. I was getting in to American horror story. I'm on season 2.

I feel the same way. All the shows I was watching are being shoved aside. I hope my dvr is up to the task of saving all the show episodes plus the 3 hr football games.

It works out fine though, I like binge watching to catch up. There are no commercials and I can watch the next episode without having to wait a week.

I have some reviews to write on tyrant,  the night of,  the night manager,  but I'm waiting to finish Ray Donovan.

Sidenote: is anyone doing that Sunday ticket To Go feature? It's 50 a month for four months.

Atlanta is going to be the best new show this fall.  2 episodes in the premier last night, and I'm hooked already.

Nice.  I saw that and was intrigued, clearly worth it if your already hooked.  Is it a miniseries type?

Reviews of The Night Manager and The Night Of

The Night Manager

I really enjoyed this show, its not on par with the writing of the recent major shows, ie Fargo, TD, even The Night Of.  The ending i thought was very good and the show actually reminded me of Lord of War from the opposite side.  I recommend it for sure. [spoiler/]

The Night Of

Fantastic show, ended kind of how i thought it would although i was thinking Freddy was going to kill Naz, i dont know why, maybe for his unicorn leaving.  The character development over such a short series was amazing for Naz, the kid can really sell his role.  I like how they ended it by pointing towards who the killer most likely is, but we still dont know.  [spoiler/]

@usmccharles in regards to Atlanta.  It's going to be a multiple season type of show.  I think it hooked me since they already added some character depth in the premiere episodes, and I just have to know how the characters got to where they are now.  Drama comedy mix.

The first episode of AHS was a very strong start. Feeling much better about this season than I have the previous two. I had chills most of the episode.

I'm ready to watch it over again. Totally seemed like a mashup of Spielberg and Carpenter movies I loved growing up

AHS looks like it might actually be kinda scary this season. Ive watched since season one and a couple seasons were kinda dull and boring.

I thought so too.  This looks much more like season 1 than it is whatever you call seasons 4 and 5.  It's not about the blood or gore, but more about the chills.  I'm hoping it stays like the first episode.

Prison Break is still my favorite, and out of my mind excited that it is coming back next year.

Love me some Walking Dead too, and don't laff, but Naked and Afraid.

That's pretty much all I watch outside of sports and science/discovery/military channels; never really been a fan of tv

For its flaws throughout the season, Mr. Robot made them all disappear with that finale. I've caught onto a few of the tricks throughout the season, but I was not expecting that ending at all.

I have to say, while Rami Malek is the heart of this show, Grace Gummer stole the show all season. Her character captivated me to no end, and they gave her a great payoff tonight.

Did anyone watch Designated Survivor last night? I'm not much on regular tv but this looks to be a good story line. Did hold my interest throughout. I'm a fan of Kiefer Sutherland and think he's perfect for this part.

I finished the show last week and WOW! It's really good, honestly one of the best shows Netflix has to offer. I was seriously blown away by season 1.

Yea, the soundtrack is great, let alone the intro itself is amazing.  Netflix has done some great shows

Recorded and watched it saturday night

interesting storyline and I like Sutherland. It will be tricky to keep the storyline of both a president, yet one who is woefully unprepared

It wouldn't work though.

Deb is dead, and other than Harrison, and Rita who is also dead, she's the only person he's ever loved. He doesn't have a purpose anymore. Which is why he's given up.

I don't really agree with the article as in where it would go,  the options are pretty open.  I can't find the other article that said it was a go.   It could be done,  where you happy with the ending?

Not with the him abandoning his family. Weird thing was he was a pretty good father. They could reunite them I suppose but I don't think they could top the first four seasons of the show.

best seasons in order imo are

4,1,2,7,5,3(the outlier of the first 4), 8,6

I agree that if they brought it back its not going to top anything, I actually don't think they should bring it back although I was not happy with the ending.

I just wish.I could see more Michael C. Hall. He's honestly good enough to be a big time movie start one day. Either as a hero or villain.
