I finally watched the final season of Banshee, it was more slow burning but a good end to a great show.

You feel my pain.

It took me a few episodes to get into the first season of Flash, but now I like it a lot.

Have you not seen season 2 of Arrow or did you dislike it? I thought Arrow's second season was great, but to each their own...

Personally, I'm looking forward to the week of superhero crossovers among Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, and Legend of Tomorrows.  Well, I'm looking forward to three of the four.

It's funny that you mention the Originals. One of my coworkers told me that another actor from Teen Wolf was one of the main characters...

  Reveal hidden contents

I guess he was a werewolf whose girlfriend brought him back from the dead younger than he was when he died...

or something like that.

Arrow I keep watching but each year is worse than the last. I think I did like the second year but as it goes along they keep adding characters that aren't the least bit interesting and everyone seems to pick up advanced fighting skills on a couple of days and can defeat trained assassins with lifelong trading. Far fetched to say the least.

Never seen teen wolf except the old movie lol. But there are wolves in the originals. It's actually a spin off of vampire diaries show bit originals is much better.

Edit:. Looked up who it was. He plays actually a witch who gets inhabited by an original vampire not a wolf.

One of my biggest complaints about Arrow is the whole notion of "Team Arrow." I prefer the tighter focus on Oliver that the show had in the first two seasons.

I completely agree with how strange it is that certain teammates are magically capable fighters. Along the same lines, Oliver seems to have gotten weaker. While I was watching the latest season I went back and saw a couple of of the first season's episodes. He was able to beat multiple opponents by himself, but now he needs help against one or two.

I didn't even know there was a Teen Wolf movie until after I started watching the show.

That character arc on the Originals sounds confusing. I've heard good things about the show though. I'm just not a huge vampire fan. I prefer werewolves.

Ouch I must be showing my age with the teen wolf movie. It was Michael j Fox. I believe before back to the future.

Originals if if you just tell someone who's never seen it a current story it can be confusing but if you go with season one on Netflix easy to follow. And originals has a lot more werewolves than vampire diaries (also a movie not related). You have vampires werewolves and witches. But the original family can't be killed by normal methods.

Cool to see the Mereen situation resolved and the green screen better than it was last season with Dany riding the dragon

Winterfell stuff honestly that was pretty predictable but can't complain.

Have to say one of the best episodes of the show. Captured all the players perfectly. And about the only fitting end for...

In many ways it captured what I loved about the Battle of Blackwater episode back in season 2. It's easy to look at kings and strategies and the overall picture, but I love the gritty look at what the average rank and file go through - that really chaotic, claustrophobic and stressful set of encounters that Blackwater portrayed really well (with the blokes singing together before the battle, for example).

Though the Knights of the Vale probably owe the giant eagles a lot in royalties.

I wonder how many more seasons they're planning. Season 5 was really about setting the pieces up and now all the big ones have made the big moves right in front of them, so it'll be interesting to see how the tempo changes from here.

That's what I liked about this episode most.  I think they nailed the shots and stress of the situation.  While the plot armor was still thick for Jon (all of those arrows and not one hits him?), I think the way it was shot made up for the missteps in the story line.

The plot armour was pretty thick for Arya too. I think it takes a fair bit of shine off the story not being afraid to kill off big characters and it's been bugging me a little. Overall it was still a fantastic episode (though like I say they just needed a moth to float in on screen seconds before Petyr Baelish and the Knights of the Vale arrived), but I think those points are more bigger picture.

Yeah I feel like we're past the point of having episodes and surprises like the pilot and the red wedding.  The past 2 seasons have become relatively predictable.  It's still a good show, but it doesn't seem to carry that bang in regards to the unexpected, though.

It's a bit bittersweet losing out on such a great villain. Would have like to see them do more with him. Despite the fitting demise.

So who even has an army now that can somewhat hold up to danyres?  Other than the undead. The Lanisters seem basically disheveled and unorganized since the old man died. Snows group is hardly formidable now. The new iron army also small and should be the first taken out.

If you have not seen it, ya gotta find the episode with Ray Lewis.
Taking just two steps his shoulder exceeded the force of a police battering ram on a door frame.

Tyrells have an army and the Lannisters apparently have the largest one(according to what they said planning the raid on the High Sparrow). Dorne hasn't gotten involved either(although who is to say they won't be helping Dany) and the Vale is pretty fresh mopping up Ramsey's army. Also Euron has 1000 or so ships apparently.

Someone sell me on Banshee.  I watched a little of the first episode, but it just seems....odd to me.  I don't even really know what the overall idea of the show is.

Well for what it's worth a friend of mine who is younger than me knows the Teen Wolf movie.

The premise of the Orginals doesn't sound bad at all. I think one of my coworkers told me that a witch from TVD didn't want her kids to die and made them almost immortals and they were the original vampires.

I probably would have given it a chance last year, but now I have too many shows that I currently watch plus my watchlist on Amazon misses me. When a couple of my shows decline past my minimum interest (which Teen Wolf and Arrow are threatening to do) I might remember to check the Originals out.

I remember learning that NHL goalies really do have reflexes that are as quick as a cat's. (Courtesy of Olie the goalie for all you Caps fans)

I have no idea if the show still comes on, but didn't Max Williams take part in something similar?

Badassness. Like, it's basically a ultraviolent guy who doesn't give a damn about the law and he becomes a sheriff in the most messed up city in the middle of nowhere. And honestly it was great. Damn.

EDIT: And I'll always remember that fight against the UFC guy, I think it's ep5 (season1)

I think one interesting thing that will happen Danyres will have to chose to help the North fight the dead or take out the Lanisters and get the thrown.

Curious how the heck Varys got back with Dany after being in Dorne earlier in the episode.

But yeah a lot answered and a lot of twists. Great episode

Also we have our new villain
