Man, I was watching one earlier and it was hilarious. It was located in silver springs md and it was a pirate themed tavern. Jon transformed it and made it look really good and had it booming. Then I read that the owner tore it all down within 24 hours to switch it back. At the end it said she still lives in her parents basement with her husband and daughter.

People are crazy!

Finally started watching the first season of New Girl on Netflix. I don't know how I didn't start watching it earlier.

Schmidt might be my favorite character on TV right now.

I haven't had much time for any sort of entertainment, but you guys need to watch Luther.

 

It's a ( profanity deleted) show that stars Idris Elba from The Wire, Thor, and a bunch of other movies and shows you've probably seen at some point. The first two seasons are on Netflix and the third one just aired this year -- possibly the conclusion to the series.

 

It's a dark cop thriller about a detective who has a strong moral code and has to reconcile that with his personal life while dealing with constant internal investigations and really morbid criminals. We're talking violent killers whose crimes are similar to that of horror films.

 

Like many British shows, the seasons are short but the episodes are so densely packed, almost like an hour-long film.

Has anyone heard of Attack on Titan? it's supposed to be the new Dragonball/Naruto and tipped to become bigger than both internationally.

They're all great. Zooeys character is the only one that semi annoys me in the first season. She's just trying to hard to be adorable.

While I still say Happy Endings was last season's most tragic cancellation, it will be interesting to see how they will use Coach going forward.  I know he's coming back for at least 4 episodes this season.

Watched the first couple episodes of SOA to see how much it's changed. Back to the good ol days when Clay was cool, Opie was alive, Unser still had power and Jax wasn't completely evil.

Also re watched Chibbs killing Jimmy, Opie killing Stahl, Opies death and now Tig getting Pope.

Re-watching The League because it's awesome.

Still making my way through Buffy and Angel, and I have to say that Season 6 and Season 3 respectively have been pretty bad, especially compared to Joss Whedon's other work.  Hopefully they can turn it around since I have quite a few more episodes to go.

You're not the only one.  The excrement is going to really start hitting the rotating cooling device in season 4.  If they're smart, they'll get the next big event out of the way in the season premiere.

Comedy Central has cancelled The Jeselnik Offensive.  Sad face.

I've enjoyed the premiere of Almost Human.  I think it's what the movie I, Robot would be if it didn't suck.  It's a step above the standard police procedural with a solid cast.  Always nice to see Karl Urban.
