Baltimore wanted to film some COPS episodes in our city but the powers that be at COPS refused for the safety of their camera crews.

I appreciate that all the major networks are trying to compete with ESPN, and I would love to give them a chance, but they're not real competitors when you can't watch them on basic cable.  Seriously, I don't care which one does it, but CBS, NBC, or FOX needs to cut a deal because ESPN is terrible.

The fact that they don't really talk about sports.  Outside the Lines is the only thing they do of any value, and the network is trying to get rid of it.  And who could forget 24 hours of Tebow.  I'm not saying the other networks won't do that sensationalist Skip Bayless type nonsense that the entire ESPN network has morphed into, but maybe it won't be as bad.

 

Oh I forgot, NFL Matchup is good too, but they hide that at like 3 AM.

I recently went on a Community binge.  4 seasons in 3 days.

 

Easily one of the best comedies out there.  How is this show not getting more pub?

I think Community might be a little too high concept for some people.  Plus it's buried on NBC.  That Thursday night block included The Office is arguably the most overrated TV comedy of all time, seeing as it's not funny, and the revolting Amy Poehler and the horrible concept for the TV show ruins Parks and Rec despite Ron Swanson being a great character.

I generally go for enjoyable characters and/or a compelling story, neither of which The Office had.  They had one funny episode with the one that aired after the Super Bowl, but most fans of the show are willing to accept that as an anomaly as it is unlike any other episode of the show.

How much of it did you watch..

Seasons 1-5 were gold... For me it was hit or miss after that

It took me awhile to like the office. Felt way to awkward or slow for me to understand how funny that made it. Unfortunately for me, right when I got into it Steve Carrell left. Didn't even wanna watch all the seasons knowing he would someday leave.

It's on Netflix.. Completely worth it to watch 1-5.. 9 is good too but that's more from a closure standpoint
