No, don't think it qualifies as a spoof.  It is just a look at the current descendents of the Hatfields and the McCoys and their current relationships with each other, the feud and moonshine.

Just started Sons of Anarchy. 2 episodes in and I think it's pretty good.

So far it's not as exciting as breaking bad IMO but It will probably start picking up. I don't like the mom very much.

Too soon to tell, show just started this week, lol.  But I think the actual feud was over years ago, although on the show they still seem to be a fiesty bunch. Think the premise of the show is to bring the two sides together over the legalization of moonshine.

I'm watching Life After People on History right now.

I'm checking out The Fall, it's pretty good so far.  It's just a little 5-episode series on Netflix starring Gillian Anderson, with quite a few Game of Thrones cast members as well.  It's a lot darker and a bit oddly structured, and I found Luther more entertaining, but this was a decent watch.

I finished up The Fall this evening, and while I'm annoyed by the cliffhanger ending it is an excellent show.  It has some of the best characterization of a serial killer that I've ever seen, probably better than Silence of the Lambs.  It'll only take 5 hours of your time to watch the first series (a second is in the works).

If you have a Netflix subscription and haven't watched House of Cards, you're wasting your Netflix subscription. It is such a great show, well scripted, well acted, dark, and very entertaining.
