FINALLY got into LOST. I watched the first episode probably 6 months ago and thought "meh". No idea what i was thinking. Started watching about a week and a half ago, and I'm already almost done season 3. Great show.

Waiting for Burn Notice to come back on. Really not sure how much further they can go with it after the last season finale. I'm hoping the writers know when to stop and can do so on a high note because it's getting out of control with all the twists now.

I can't get past the main character in that show.  That guy makes William Shatner look like Daniel Day-Lewis.  Such a terrible actor.

Eh acting shmacting. My taste in movies and shows is different than most. Besides Daniel Day-Lewis ruined the name of Abraham Lincoln. I'll take the guy from Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter over DDL any day of the week. Everybody hyped that movie up so much and it covered a fraction of the guy's life. Should've been named 13th Amendment. But the director is probably more to blame for that because DDL was great in Last of the Mohicans. One TV show I'd like to get into is Eastbound and Down. Looks hilareei.

Lincoln was fantastic and DDL was simply amazing as Lincoln

I loved that Spielberg only focused on the 13th Amendment and didnt try to shove Lincoln's whole life into one movie. That helped give the movie more depth and gave you the ability to learn about others that had a deep impact on our country's history

While I appreciated not having to deal with the truly terrible characters as much, the Netflix season of Arrested Development was even worse than the first three.  I don't know why I watched the episodes.

Daniel Day-Lewis is the best actor in Hollywood right now and it's not even close.

Lincoln , great, so was There Will Be Blood and many, many more.

I finally watched the first season of Sherlock and it is a truly incredible show.  I loved it, it was far better than the Sherlock Holmes movies. And I really like Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law's versions of the characters.

How did you watch it? It's a show I wanted to get into but at the time I couldn't devote extra time to watching it.

Is it the show with 3 episodes a season?

On Netflix.  It wasn't that big of a deal, only took a few hours and it was well worth it.

Yes.  British TV is done in a weird way.

If it has been mentioned, I apologize -- but Hulu has started the second season of their original series "Prisoners Of War"... awesome show.  If you haven't seen it, get yourself a free trial and check it out.  This is my new favorite show now.

Second season is pretty great too. I think Sherlock is actually not the norm for British TV shows. Most do have regular seasons. I'm pretty sure Doctor Who runs normally. Their version of The Office (also featuring Martin Freeman) runs just like the U.S. version.

I think the 88 minute episodes are a necessity for Sherlock to allow more complicated plots and character development.

No doubt on the last part. They're basically full length movies.

It's more like a mini-series, so I would agree.  British TV is still weird.  They order 3 episodes here, 6 episodes there, and I think they call a full series 10 episodes.  A full season in the US is around 22, give or take depending on what the network want it.  I just find it frustrating because some British TV shows leave me wanting more.  I think it's tragic that we have so few episodes of shows like Sherlock and The Inbetweeners because their quality is above the majority of television.

My next ( profanity deleted) show is going to be Luther.  I'm going to try to squeeze that and get caught up on Continuum before continuing with The X-Files.  But I still need to watch season 3 of the original Star Trek too.

Have you tried the reboot of Doctor Who? Many of my friends have told me to watch it but I couldn't get through the first two episodes. I'm not one for sci fi.

I might have made it three.  People keep telling me to watch it, apparently it gets better when they get to David Tennant as the Doctor, but I couldn't get into it.  I have to watch things chronologically or it bothers me.

Yeah, I heard the same thing about Tenant. Apparently, Matt Smith as the Doctor (after Tennant) is pretty great as well.

Might have to give it another shot soon. I hear too many good things about the series not to try again.

For the record, I'm pretty pissed that the Falling Skies premier is at the same time as the Spurs-Heat game.  Who in their right mind approved of that ingenious decision?!

Just watched the Season 7(Final Season) premiere of Burn Notice. I'm glad this is the last season because it has been getting out of control. And I don't care if Jeffrey Donovan isn't a good actor. The Miami scenery and women are always easy on the eyes. Also watched the Series Premiere of Graceland. Not impressed with it so far. Smart privileged guy getting hazed by his peers only to be welcomed into the group is too cliche

I gave up on burn notice a few seasons ago, it just got so repetitive. Ya I wasn't overly impressed with Graceland to this point but I'll give it a couple more chances like I did with Hanibal

Matt Smith AND David Tennant's Doctors are both great in their own ways, while Matt's Doctor is more of the charmer David's portrayal usually has this quiet fury that he brings out of the character so well. There are certainly a few dull episodes during both actors' runs but nothing like that one terrible season of Christopher Eccleston. It shouldn't be a surprise he only last one season before being "regenerated." I'd reccomend just skipping the first season of the reboot as it doesn't add very much to the whole Doctor Who lore in any case apart from the character of Rose.

I don't really have many shows I am devoted to watching amymore. I too used to be a huge Burn Notice fan but it has gotten pretty repetitive. The only show I can even think of that I religiously follow now is Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia, which is far from a religious program hahaha.
