In case you guys haven't heard, there is a Referee lock out going on and replacement refs will be working tonight's Hall of Fame Game. PFT says Craig Ochoa, who is listed as a 26 year veteran who has officiated Professional Football games and Basketball games working mostly in the Big 10 Conference and Arena Football League.

Yeah, it's Sunday night. Yeah there's nothing on and nothing to do. Yeah it's football. But once the starters are out, it's gonna be REAL depressing watching some 3rd stringers on two teams I don't care about flail around.

Yeah but those 3rd stringers do care about this game and care about making an impact. Who knows, the Saints or Cardinals may have a diamond in the rough player who turns out to be a great player. Remember Victor Cruz? Nobody knew who he was and he shined in the pre-season and became one hell of a starter for the Giants.

Doesn't matter for us though. We don't play the Saints for 2 years and the Cardinals for 4 years.

You don't have to watch. There are lot of young guys who are playing for their jobs/careers/dreams. They make plays and they entertain me. Some are hidden gems, some pressing the starters. Good stuff to watch.
