Sure he is. He isn't a boom or bust guy in weekly scoring but he is one on the general overall season. His ceiling is high and his floor (injury history) is low. He can make or break you.

If he were to stay healthy he'd be a top pick because of his production. But his heavy history of injuries can also bust your season.

Vick is another one of those type of guys. But his value is a lot better.

Where you have to take McFadden he will end up killing your team. Its inevitable.

Which is why I question his top 2 rounds pick status. 4 years straight now he has screwed ppl over and yet its not changing.

The extremely shady pool of rbs is the reason ppl will continue to risk it their top picks on him. once rice, mccoy, foster, mjd are gone it gets ugly...quick, the rest of the top guys are comming off injuries, lynch will be suspended, turner is iffy on the top 6...but theres really no one left after the elite guys and i dont think you can win your league without having a dominating rb

Lets look at some of your statements there

Lynch will get suspended - really? Will he be suspended for more games than Mcfadden misses to injury - doubt it

MJD - see Lynch

Turner - even if his number of carries go down by 50 - hed still get 250 carries. On top of that the box will be open so he will prolly average a couple of more yards per carry (due to julio roddy and gonzales

Injured returnees - some points > goose egg mcfadden gives you when he gets injured

in no way am i stating that id take dmc over any of these guys, i was just stating my opinion on why people are reaching so early, i wouldnt touch dmc until the third, even if at all

Lynch wont miss more games than dmc, agreed

turner- just not big on him, maybe the pass happy offense will open up for him, i just dont plan on drafting him

no i understand what you were trying to say. You were just giving reasons why he moves up the draft board, but at the same time, I am just pointing out why any reasoning is basically faulty. The fact is that without a great strategy and some luck he should not be taken early.

3 games max. But the deal with his suspension is that it cannot happen until there is a guilty verdict. Best case he dodges a suspension this year, worst case - he is suspended during playoffs. Either way less risk than Matthews.

Mikel has had 2 just this offsason.

I dont expect his punishment to be very harsh.

Goodell hasnt punished anyone yet...doesn't mean it wont happen. There are clear penalties prescribed for this kind of behavior.

Kenny Britt should be talking (or is) with Roger Goodell. I expect a severe punishment as Goodell is bringing down the hammer more than ever on players an how they should be accountable for each ones actions.

Yeah, you are right. I thought that suspension was from an earlier incident. Britt was in to see Goodell and he will most likely see a suspension as well. Right now Lynch's case is in Limbo, but if it gets resolved he is in line for a big suspension.

Yea but court cases take forever. I am sure Lynch and his lawyer are delaying the case as long as possible. To avoid a sentence this season and to avoid voiding his contract.

Most Likely that is the route they are trying to take. He is a risk though. Not sure if I want him on my team.

That isnt the reason I chose not to have him on my team. Health was basically the reason. Lynch is that team. They have 0 passing game. The o line cant stay healthy and lynch misses the occasional due to back spasms which is always a game time decision which can screw you over.

In the last draft I did I had to choose between Lynch, T Rich, and S jax. Dont trust Sjax's team or him for that matter, Lynch add the suspension on to everything I said so the choice was obv T Rich for me ( did this 2 days before he got hurt. Even after this scope I still think its the best choice.)

I think I would rather take a top WR or TE, not sure where you were drafting but I dont like any of those options.

3rd round. I already had demarco murray and shady mccoy and wanted a strong flex option. Ended up grabbing Vick and Davis in the next 2.

He already had two RBs though and ended up not taking a WR til 6th round. I dont tlike that strategy at all, but hey to each his own.
