NFL.com changes

9 posts in this topic

So when I posted that Jamal Lewis article I noticed changes to NFL.com. I don't know if anyone on here uses the site but does anyone else hate their new commenting system? Making it go through facebook instead of nfl.com accounts? I don't know about about anyone else but that is not something I would want to use my facebook for. But really it's that it takes away from the real time discussions you can have with other team fans on articles and game centers. Pretty much the only reason I went on the site were for the gamecenters. Lame.

Yep. Pretty much ensures I won't comment on there again. Don't like connecting that to all my personal business... Also, they've been 'blogging' way more often than they used to - writing stupid fluff articles instead of actual analysis; guys like Hanzsus, Rosenthal, Rank, etc are the major culprits.

Maybe it's time to do away with facebook altogether.

Exactly. No need for randoms knowing my facebook information. & their 'articles' are straight up garbage. If I never read another nfl.com article that'll be fine by me. So basically there is really no point of being on the site at all except for maybe the videos.

I agree. I hate that so many sites now are relying on Facebook for people to comment. I even see Yahoo and AOL are starting to do it(only on some articles as of now) and now you just can't comment based off your Yahoo or AOL email. I actually rarely visit NFL.com to tell you the truth, I get my news from PFT, Rotoworld, and Adam Schefter on Twitter/Facebook.

I pretty much stopped even trying to read articles on NFL.com. It seems every time I go to that site, it tries to load malware on my computer and I get hung up while the blockers deal with it.

Add Jason Smith and Elliott Harrison to that list. Not to mention, they're the biggest Raven haters out there.

Harrison has actually made special 'shout outs' to Ravens fans in a couple of his articles. He loves us. Except not really lol
