Pitta broken hand

Totally sucks, but as others have said this is a time for the WR crew to step up. Just, please, stay healthy Ed Dickson!! Also is Kris Wilson available? Seems like a no-brainer to bring him back.

I'd like to see him back as well. However, with his service time, the vet minimum for someone like him is over a million. That's probably a deterrent.

Hmmm...didn't know that bit of detail - thanks for the info. That would probably impact decision making, although we do have some room now with Rice signing. I sure hope Pitta's MRI goes as well as possible.

The silver lining here is that the timetable for Pitta remains four to six weeks. That puts him in line to possibly play in Sept. 10 opener.

I think overall we've been more fortunate than a lot of teams. Sizzle and "don't leave home without him" Pitta are big losses, but it looks like we can cover until they return. Time for Dickson to man up and hold on to the ball!

In general, if there is a healthy free agent available during the first week of training camp (before any cuts are made) chances are that he's not really worth a look.

If he's going to be back by the first reg. season game, or even a week or two later, it's not that bad.

Yea, your right. I was just writing before i spoke. If you think about it. We were pretty lucky last yr with only a few injuries. And it turns out Pitta will only miss a few games if that.

More than anything, i just wish Suggs heals faster than expected and returns even before mid season.

Yea, i liked Wilson. He was more of a Blocking T.E which i think we need with our O line not being the Best.

I was really rooting for him to take that #1 TE spot for ravens.

Now that he is out of training camp, I have to watch Ed Dickson drop balls like a king half a season

Cause its still a bummer....its natural to be upset/pissed when one of our rising stars gets injured in any form. Hell, I dont want to see Dickson out there taking snaps away from a healing Pitta. I have NEVER seen someone drop that many balls. Its ridiculous!!

pitta will come back strong. missing the whole camp an preseason will push him back a little. i am really looking forward to see our two TE play this year. i think they will both take the next step. i don´t think they are like the NE TE but they are good. maybe combined for 1500yards receiving...

dickson will work on his hands. he also had some pretty impressive catches. but the drops were a problem. but sometimes in here you could have the feeling that the ravens are the only team with players dropping balls...
