Cool Derek Mason story

Grew up in Baltimore, but school and work took me to Hendersonville, Tennessee. Have staye dtrue to my Baltimore roots and obviously that doesnt alwas play well over here in Titan Country. This past weekend Wife & I are out on Olh HIckory Lake on our Pontoon boat the "Raven Lunatic". Its paitned and has Ravens graphics on it. We arein the water when a boat pulls up asking who owned the Ravens boat. I was expecting the usual banter from crazy Titans fans. Lady kept asking us who our favorite payers were etc... No idea where this was going or why when we were aked about Derek Mason. Wife and I both talked about him palying in playoffs with shoulder braced and his overall general toughness. We especially talked about how proud we were to think of Titans giving him his start but him wanting to and eventually retiring a Raven. At that point Derek Mason himself stands up and says he is glad to hear all the nice things about him from some Tennessee people. He said he saw the boat and had to come over and see who in Tennessee would be brave enough to have a Ravens boat. To all of you that think our Steelers rivalry is number one ( that is me included) I can tell you that people over here in Tennessee hate us even more. The last two times they thought they had the playoffs wrapped up and a chance at the Super Bowl we took it from them.

Anyway, Mason hung out with us a bit and talked and it was just a cool experience to see one of our own so far away from Baltimore. Actually made me even more pumped for this season. NFL ticket will be in full use and hope to get to some games again this year to cheer in person
