It was the Titans wasnt it ?

If you're asking about who broke our non 100 yard rusher then no, it was Cincy's Cedric Benson.

I really, really hate the Patriots. Every single thing about them. I respect BB and Brady but not as much as I do the Steelers.

Every Ravens and Steelers game is intense and physical. If we lose, it's usually because they just beat us. Usually when we lose to the Patriots it's some call that screws us, or last years meltdown with 30 seconds left. Plus we hardly ever beat them before.

I gotta say, our AFCC lost was the worse ever. It still haunts me.

I hate both teams with a passion, but I got more respect for the Steelers than I do Patriots.

Gotta agree with that 100%, and before that happened it was the Play off game the yr before against the Stealers when we Completely fell apart and literally handed them the game. We should have been to the SB the last 2 seasons. Instead of talking about the RAVENS becoming a Dynasty this season with 3 SB trips, we are still trying to get to our First one in the Harbs, Flacco era.

I went with Pats since the Colts don't have Manning anymore.

And i went with the 49ers because of Harbs brother.

Side Note - I don't think the 49ers are going to repeat what they did last season, call it a gut feeling. Even with their Really, Really, Really weak Division.
repeat as in them making it the championship game or repeat as in win their division?

No way are the 49ers a rival. We play them once every four years, and barring a Harbowl SB, we won't be playing them again until 2015.

I would say Patriots because we're two elite teams in the AFC, our matches are really close, and even though we've only beaten them once in our history, the media and everyone else remembers 33-14 well. Not to mention the Brady-Suggs mini feud.

Next would be Titans. They hate us more than we know, and our series is very close. We've signed many former Titans over the years (Mason, McNair, Rolle) that became key figures for our franchise at some point in time or another.

The question was of NFC teams. We play every NFC team once every four years.

I wouldn't consider anyone in the NFC a rival of the Ravens. We don't play anyone often enough to build anything substantial. The Giants and Pats would be the closest because of their recent SBs, but even they aren't scheduled to go at it until 2015 as well.

That is what I was asking.
Thanks for the clarification.

There is a love hate relationship with the Redskins. They rep the USA Capital and at the same time they are very close and Beltways makes us Neighbors. As a Raven fan I like beating them up every couple years on " Prime time tv."

Jets for trying to pretend to be the Ravens, and Skins for the location factor
If that's the reason why the Jets should be our rival, you should throw San Diego in the mix too, and Indiannapolis. Those 2 teams have nothing but ex-Ravens.

Every other team in the NFL is a rival when you think of it. We're all competing for the same thing. Outside of the division our biggest rival right now has to be the Pats. They are among the best in our conference every year and we always have tough games.

Rivalry from the Team's POV- Patriots and No one. (though Giants would of been a good bet for NFC rival if Lee Evans caught that ball)

Rivalry from Fan's POV-Patriots and Skins

My opinion- Patriots. Period. I don't and the team doesn't give a crap about playing a team every 4 years.

Their team as a whole was a lot better then
They might be getting better, though. McCourty rookie year was a pro-bowler, last year was terrible. I'd say he's still got the talent and may yet turn into a cornerstone of their defense. I think they definitely reached a bit for Chandler Jones, but getting him and Dont'a Hightower was still a great first round, IMO. Dennard could a steal for them. If a team like the Texans could make such a huge defensive adjustment with a shortened offseason, I think the Patriots could be in a position to do the same.

Wade Phillips was a huge reason for the texans defense having the year it did. I don't know who the patriots defensive coordinator is, but they do have the players to make something special happen.

I am going to say that right now it is currently the Pats, because we all know who really should have been representing the AFC in the Super Bowl, but I predict the Texans are going to be up there as one of the elites to beat very shortly. In the NFC, I say the 49ers because of the sibling rivalry and how good they currently are. A few years ago, I would have said Colts and Redskins.

Rookie D-coordinator, he's been a defensive position coach for them since 2006, and was an offensive assistance in 04 and 05. Total unknown, but then, so was Chuck Pagano.

You know what's sad is that Pats fans don't consider us rivals because of the one sided record. That record is really misleading.

9ers and skins almost a dead heat..... i like the 49ers but i think when we play Ari it usually ends up being a good game and i loved the bad blood when we shut cowboys stadium down while setting records and smashing jerry jones overconfidence( remember i think ed reed making a gesture of pulling the leaver then throwing arms in the air with explosion sound effects? i loled

anther thing on my mind...... looking at the votes really brings to light the echelon of tallent this team is at now. we are a top teir team in the nfl. feels good after i put in my "fan work"(sometimes it was hard work) from '96-'98 and '02-'07 (cept for '06 that was a great year) ;)

I was thinking old school in Tennessee. I remember those days of Ray Lew and Eddie George. Not to mention all the trash talk that went into the AFC Semi Round in 2009.

The 49ers (Redskins for old school) because of John/Jim and Ray/P-Will Defense vs. Defense etc... Going to be a great battle in these next years with Bmore already 1-0!

This was harder for me than I thought it would be.

I put Patriots for conference rivals. As it said, it has been a great rivalry since 2007 as far as I'm concerned. Pats fans, like it or not, have to deal with us period. I originally was going to put Tennessee since we've gone at it with them since at least 2001 and our AFC Central days. I thought it hasn't been long enough with the Pats but I realized it's actually been 5 years so that is plenty. Plus, it should be a playoff driven thing imo.

I put 49ers because of the sibling rivalry and they carbon copied us. But I really was thinking Giants but I have a close up view because my entire family is from Jersey so they are G.I.ants fans so it magnifies it for me. And I hate the Cowboys like an AFCN rival. But there really isn't enough to justify a true rivalry. It's only been one year w/San Fran so I think it is really the Giants.

god I HATE the patriots...such a pathetic style of football. Get a premadonna QB, and then get every ref in the NFL on the payroll, and there you go. I won't lie though Gronk is the truth!
LOL, I agree. Don't care about Gronk though. I think they should have waited a year for the monster contract.

I can't wait until Ray cracks him and picks off a pass in Week 3 for his smart mouthing in the playoff game last year.
