Before kids, we had a 2003 Super Air Nautique 210. After we had our first child, we sold it. While we only had it a short time, we loved taking it to the lake. The only downfall was storing it, but I'd never be a boat owner again. It was too much work, and with small children now, I'd be afraid of what would happen. But they are fun!

12 foot Sea Nymph. Haven't took it out this summer, It's just sitting there. Need a engine. -_-

My dads got a 22 foot offshore thats sitting at my 98 year old neighbors house in my old neighborhood. That boat was awesome, we just couldn't take it with us when we moved because we had no trailer.

We put a lot of money into it, such a waste just sitting there. I'm not completey sure if we even own it anymore. lol. One day I'll have to stop by and see if I could grab it and hopefully sell it. Apparently it's a collectors item.

Boats are nothing but money pits... I'll never buy one, but they are extremely cool!

Good luck with your search!

I'm purple nurple, and I approve this message. My dad owned a boat and I grew up on the Chesapeake. No way I'm throwing that much money at something. Ill borrow my friends.

I disagree. I think this proves my point. Whatever little money this man had is now being thrown into a pumpkin with a motor. ;)

Boats are a hole in the water surrounded by fiberglass in to which one dumps money. I grew up on the bay too, loved it. Everyone in my family has a boat but me well my dad now too since his sunk last summer. My sister uses here as a condo on the water because of gas prices lol

My father had a plaque of the dictionary definition of a boat on our boat that said the same thing, lol.

Waiting until winter, but what Ive been looking at and will eventually end up with is something in the neighborhood of a 26 foot (+- 2 feet) Sea Ray 1995-2000 with a cuddy and sleeping for 6. Suburban can more than tow it, not to mention I have tons of family with houses on the water all over MD. Very much looking forward to it.

We just obtained a Sea Doo and I want something in the 25 ft range that we can trailer. Im opposite of my family, I got pregnant on my honeymoon so now my youngest graduates in 2013 so its time to do things like boating, hanging at the condo in FL and I'm so looking forward to life lol My sister has a 42 ft Pace and my brother a 52 ft Sea Ray., I see what they pay in gas and repairs and I say HELL NO lol
