What Interception In Your Memory Has Been The Greatest!

38 posts in this topic

Well, I think a lot of us can agree that the greatest in Ravens history was Ed Reed's pick-6 against the Browns in 2004.

However, my favorites have been the ones that I've witnessed in-person. Coincidentally, every Ravens game I've been to, the defense has nabbed an INT.

1) Deion Sanders' INT return for TD against the Bills in 2004 (last TD of his career).
2) Ray Lewis' INT return for TD against the Browns in 2007.
3) Chris McAlister's drive-ending INT of Carson Palmer in this year's season-opener against the Bengals.

I am not sure if it was an int but there was a play where Kelly Greg ran the length of the field and was caught near the goal line, as a defensive line men I love seeing those types of plays. He was so tired his

teammates helped him off the field, both hilarious and great play. Reply if you remember what I am talking about.
In my mind I can still remember it vividly. It was a Sunday evening and I was getting ready to find out where all my friends were going to watch the Pitch Black Game(1st time Raven's wear all black) vs Browns. At around 6:30 I get a call from one of my co-worker who knows how big a Raven's fan I am to let me know that someone on the job had 2 tickets for sale face value. I got in touch with the person selling the ticket's and proceeded to go pick up the ticket's with one of my friends. We did not even know where we would be sitting, we just wanted to go to the game. We pick up the ticket's and see that we will be sitting in Sec 109 Row 5 in the end zone. Here we witnessed a great game and I think we also witnessed the Greatest Raven's Interception ever right before our eye's. #20 Ed Reed from the end zone ending a possible scoring drive for the Brown's, at the time it was a record breaking return. All for $48.00 per ticket in 2004.

THE GREATEST!! :D

I think this is the one! I like the way Ed Reed was running with his arms out like Ravens wings soring through the ednzone after he scored ! :D
It wasn't an interception but one of my favorites was when C-mac caught the long field goal attempt and Ray crushed that guy on a block and McCalister took it to the house! (Ed reed always has the best int returns)
Yeah, that was awesome. I keep trying that on Madden but it never lets me catch short field goals. Anyone else tried this, or accomplished it?

Best in my mind was the AFC Championship game with Big Ray's 50 yard pick 6. In a tie for second is Cmac's MNF return and Ed Reed's 108 yard pick 6.

If you have Madden 2009 you can catch short field goals. They even have a formation for short fieldgoal returns.
