Haha I have no idea what happened to him. Probably went on an adventure somewhere.

Sucks to think about it.....

Every time I think about Ray Lewis retiring, I get very sad. I've already vowed that on the day he announces it, I'm taking off of work that day and probably the next.

Wouldn't that be great?
I wonder of they would place it on the home side of on the visitors by Johhny U's?
Would like to see that every game before walking in. What a motivator!

They have to give Ray Lewis a statue when he retires. I hope it's in the pose at the end of his dance.

That would be awesome. I've been a long-time supporter of the Lewis statue idea, but I've also said it probably won't happen until at least 5-10 years after his retirement. In other words, when he's about 75, right? :oldwiseman:

Was hoping of using this as an outlet to get our favorite Raven a statue in front of our wonderful stadium. He has given so much to this community, to fellow athletes, to the homeless and to children. He has also done this outside of our state and country in places such as London, England.

This is a living legend football wise and he is one of the best humanitarians I have ever known through the media. He is a man who off field is always smiling and just enjoys life and enjoys motivating and helping others. A street sign isn't enough.

If you think we need to get him a statue to show our gratitude as a fan base, please reply.

(Figured start the process now so it can be erected after he retires in a year or two)

without a doubt.

i know this is just a stretch of the imagination here but wouldn't it be sweet if the funding could be raised for say a baltimore football legends statue complex in front of or at various spots around the stadium? johnny unitas of course is already there, ray would be there, and perhaps ring of honor members and future ravens hall of famers would have statues as well.

the ravens organization obviously has a sharp interest in old world aesthetic and heraldry ie. the ravens crest, the castle, raven sculptures around the stadium etc. i think statues around the stadium would fit quite nicely :minioiseau1:
