I don't think he actually retired, he announced his retirement would be after the London games some time ago and that's still the case I believe. Although he does credit Ray Lewis for rekindling his passion for competing after he got a little lazy after Beijing.

Yeah who was that they just played against? LOL that was a joke. I can't stand the NBA, but I do love watching our basketball team own in the Olympics. I loved the one-handed fast break dunk by Harden. And the lob to james. And the lob to Anthony. And the lob to Davis. So many of em. I felt like the Benny Hill theme song should've been playing. We had a field day.

I can't believe how much press the Welsh footballers not singing the GB anthem is getting. There were plenty of English players not singing at the European Championships and nothing was said about it. The British media are so frustrating at times!

Yeah what the heck? I thought we'd battle it out with them. They really went down unda. I couldn't watch women's gymnastics. That's just too brutal to watch. Feel bad for all of them. I think the 2 per team rule is terrible. The russians were doing awful. Anyways, Phelps better win us some Gold. And even though it's a far cry, I wish Centrowitz(not sure if that spelling's right) on the track team could medal in the mile. I ran cross country and track in the same county as him. Dude's a beast. His sister was usually state champ as well.

Oh, not denying that they are a joy to watch (haven't turned the Olympics on once), just think its hilarious some of these games/sports that are played during the Olympics.

So I watched womens basketball for the first time today. Wow. At one point one of the guards had a turnover and drive down court only to trip over and fall on her face, when they showed the slo-mo replay she didn't actually trip on anything so much as fall into the ground.

It's a hard sport to play according to girls Ive talked too. It should be an Olympic sport.
