just wondering because im always playin Halo, Cod, and gears of war if there was any other fans on here who played online?

Im a huge call of duty fan.. Im not sure if its something to be proud of, but about 8-12 months after the release of cod 4, i was ranked top 200 in score and top 175 in wins.. Im in the process of trying to get a cod 5 beta code..

im playing the beta and its ok. i like how different they made this one. i honestly think this will be a great game but i dont kno if its better than cod4.

I'm a big cod4 guy, and I used to be a GoW guy too, but not much anymore. November 7th I'll be getting GoW2 though. COD5 looks like crap to me, seems alot like battlefield:bc because it has climbing trees, tanks jeeps etc, and I dont like the WW2 shooters, the new guns kick a**. I also like infinity ward making the COD's not the other company. I think this is a step back, so its back to Gears for me for the moment and madden of course

yea i kind of felt the same way but after playing cod5 its actually not that bad. i will also be playing gow2 but i think i will spend more time playing cod5. i think you should atleast try and rent it because its worth atleast renting

I was addicted to COD4 on line. I had a pretty decent clan too. Never made it to the golden cross (only about half-way), but we eagerly anticipate the arrival of COD5.

Cod5 actually isnt a bad game.. I didnt think any company would step up like infinity ward did with cod4, but cod 5 is very good.. I didnt expect it to be as good as it is.. It sure as hell gives cod4 a run for its money..

I may get COD 5 for Christmas, I'm in college so the game buying is going down for now. I bought Rock Band 2 earlier this year, and madden 09, so GoW2 will probably be the last game this year. My brother said it wasn't bad as hes played the beta. I just usually dislike the WW2 games, so Idk... I'll ask a few friends when they buy it and see.

i was actually the same way about cod5 i was like man that game is going to suck and i dont want it and i went and pre ordered GOW2 and then i got the beta and it changed my mind.

now the beta does have its problems but with those aside i think this game will give cod4 a run for its money. its got the graphics of cod4 and the smooth game play of cod4 with a older weapons plus who doesnt enjoy watch someones body explode on impact.

It's like COD 2 (Which was one of the best). You start as a Maring in the South Pacific in WWII and do 2 missions. Then you're a Russian private (sniper) for two. Then it alternates about 2 more times and then your a gunner on a PBY flying over the Japanese fleet. That's as far as I've gotten so far. The flame thrower is cool, but maybe it's me (or my sttings) but it seems more difficult than usual. Oh yeah, you're also a Russian Tanker at one point too (Shooting shells and flames).

GoW2 is just like the 1st im almost am mad i bought it but it came with 1600 free pts so whatever. i should have cod 5 fri so i can wait.

I'll be playing on-line for the 1st time later tonight. They should still have air or artillary strikes after X kills and I hoping Tanks after that.

Yesterday GameFly sent me an email saying they sent me Cod 5.. So ill have it tomorrow or monday.. Definitely by tuesday though.. Ill be on that game a lot.. you guys can request me too.. Ill send some out
