The Eagles WR Josh Huff arrested speeding with gun and Marijuana possession..

Looks like he's going to have much bigger role on the offense, but with this arrest, his career might derail.....

Eagles just released Huff.

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/arrested-eagles-wr-josh-huff-believes-everyone-in-the-nfl-has-a-gun-145103886.html

“I’m a professional athlete. What professional athlete don’t have a gun?” Huff said, according to Philly.com. “I have a wife and I have a son at home, and my job is to protect them at all costs. My job is to protect myself as well.”

Gun and weeds don't go hand to hand; he needs to get a gun in a legal way first.

Huff was charged for unlawful possession of a weapon and for having hollow point bullets, marijuana possession, a DUI, speeding and obstructed view for tinted windows, CSN Philly said.

He belongs to the gang instead of NFL....

Hopefully we can rent him on a 1 year prove it deal

That would be nice, but I seriously doubt he takes that.  I have a feeling somebody is going to pay him mega money, and that is not going to be the Ravens.  Although it sure would be sweet to have a Jeffrey-Wallace 1-2 punch with Perriman and Moore behind them (and possibly Camp)

Is it me or has this thread been surprisingly slow this season?

That is not a bad thing.

NFL has suspended Bills OT Seantrel Henderson 10 games for his latest wellness violation policy. It's believed that Henderson failed because of his use of marijuana to treat a severe case of Crohn's disease. If that's the case, the NFL is completely wrong on this and shouldn't suspend him at all.

I wonder how marijuana treats Crohn? Did he use it as a pain killer?

Pats DT Branch wins appeal of 4 game marijuana suspension. I think that's the fisrt time I've ever heard of a player having a marijuana suspension overturned.  Wonder what the story is there or if the Cheatriots paid someone off to get that verdict?

Based on the timing, I have to wonder if he had been drinking on the team plane.  If so, all hell is going to break loose.

Based on his play, I wouldn't be surprised if that was on the flight to, not from Miami.

How ironic that footballs biggest sponsor (alcohol) is the result of so many problems but lets suspend guys over marijuana. To clarify I do not smoke weed.

And now released by Arizona.

he'd be worth a flyer next year when he is a free agent (although he has severely under-performed this year)

I'm not gonna go too off topic, but as an individual that studies law, the entire justice system is too harsh on marijuana use and at times it is excessive. However, it's "against the law," whereas alcohol is not, if you're the legal age. Hundreds of thousands are arrested each year on marijuana related charges, but alcohol is shown to be more dangerous, yet it's not illegal so...

But yeah, Floyd has underperformed, but I'd assume he'll be picked up by a potential playoff contender?
