So like the Browns to celebrate a "moral" victory like an actual victory.

I was trying to figure out what they was celebrating also. Probably should've said trying to drink their troubles away

Police believe that Talib shot himself following completion of the investigation.

www.yahoo.com/sports/news/report-police-believe-broncos-db-aqib-talib-shot-himself-in-the-leg-004520156.html

It's crazy this could happen to more than 1 player in the NFL.

Apparently if OBJ has one more outburst, he will be benched by the Giants coaches and suspended for a game or two.

Oh, please OBJ, have an outburst against the Packers. Do not face the Ravens.

And of course, both Packers starting corners are injured. Maybe reserves can rattle him somehow....

Apparently the script is the same for each team.

Talk trash and hit him a little late on every play. It eventually gets to him.

Looks like it doesn't need to be on every play after you hit him early. He's got very short fuse.

For as talented as he is, his attitude will not keep him in the league for long.

Now if OBJ was with us, I don't think he would have these problems. Giants don't have leadership in their receiving corps like SSS.

He seems like he'd be this way anywhere.

Yep, he's all about himself. Young though, there's still hope.

Not only receiving corps, they don't seem to have any strong leaders on the entire roster

Perhaps, but I think it'd be different based on the bolded reason. In fact, I've heard Giants fans say that McAdoo has basically lost control of the team.

Maybe a change of scenery would be good, but he just seems like a, "Me, me, me."

The Giants haven't even cut the dude yet. Lol The NFL is so inconsistent. With everything. DV is DV.

They left him home, didn't go to the UK. It won't be long.

Better be worse than Rice.

The NFL has bungled this WORSE than they did with Rice or maybe the way they handled the Rice situation was worse, who knows. The NFL office continues to take hit after hit. I know the Owners won't pull the plug on Goodell but they have to be paying attention to how the league office continues to screw up these kind of situations under his watch.

Suspend, my foot.  Suspension obviously doesn't work with him.  How about permanent ban?

As it turns out, they "only" fined him $75K.  How long do we have to put up with his criminal actions?

Stolen from USA Today:

Quote

The reputation is both expansive and expensive. This marked the eighth time in 53 career NFL games Burfict was fined. Counting lost game checks due to his three-game suspension earlier this year, those fines total $805,400.

  • Week 3, 2013: $10K — striking Packers’ Ryan Taylor in the groin
  • Week 3, 2013:  $21K — hit on defenseless player, Packers’ James Jones
  • Week 8, 2013: $21K — spearing New York Jets’ WR Stephen Hill
  • Week 6, 2014: $25K — ankle twisting Cam Newton and Greg Olsen
  • Week 13, 2015: $69.4K — three separate unsportsmanlike incidents vs. Steelers
  • Week 17, 2015: $50K —  hit to defenseless tight end Maxx Williams away from play
  • Wildcard Playoffs, 2016: $534K -- three-game suspension — multiple violations of player-safety rules including hit on Antonio Brown
  • Week 6, 2016: $75K -- stomping on leg of LeGarrette Blount

Burfict's history and reputation are part of his challenge in this league now.

That's ridiculous. The guy should be suspended for the rest of the season at a minimum. This shows the problem with just one man instead of a governing body overseeing the discipline of players.

Josh Brown put on exempt list. My guess is that he never plays in NFL again (but still gets his salary for this year)

I just like how Head Coach Ben McAdoo is saying how they won't turn their back on him and almost defending him. This wouldn't happen under Coughlin, Coughlin would have cut him right away. He did a good job hidimg it while Coughlin was coach but still. OBJ acting up more than usual as soon as Coughlin is gone?

Giants are no longer disciplined. It's showing.

Josh Brown's NFL career is officially over. Giants have released him.

Cool. I hope he enjoys his time spraying out shoes at the bowling alley.

The Eagles WR Josh Huff arrested speeding with gun and Marijuana possession..

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/report-eagles-receiver-josh-huff-arrested-after-police-find-gun-marijuana-174111576.html

Looks like he's going to have much bigger role on the offense, but with this arrest, his career might derail.....
