Don't know if anything will come of this but Steelers WR Antonio Brown was nearly ejected during a joint practice with the Lions for his conduct toward an official. Whatever he did, it would have been enough to get him ejected in a regular season game and that the official plans on reporting AB to the league office.

NFL still plans to interview LBs Clay Matthews, Julius Peppers and James Harrison before season about PED accusations, per league source.

Update: These four players now have a deadline set to 26th August to conduct the interviews, since NFLPA supplied half-page statements is not deemed "sufficient and full co-operation". If the deadline is breached, they all face suspensions.:

Goodell is so drunk with power. Need to find a way to get him removed, he's out of control.

Indeed.  What happened to innocent until proven guilty?  All 4 players have provided sworn affidavits denying the report.  Peyton was cleared.  2 baseball players have filed libel suits against Al Jazera.  Seriously - go after the report, not the players.

Goodell needs to go.  He is a spoiled dictator with axes to grind.

Bills DT Marcel Dareus is facing a four-game suspension for another violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy, league sources tell ESPN.

No excuses for our offensive line to protect Flacco then. Hopefully, the offense starts off fast.......unlike the last two season openers.

Should be a nice game to get the o line in sync and for Stanley to get his feet wet in a real live NFL game.

Absolutely. I'm REALLY hoping our running game gets going. We got the deep threats to open up the field this time around.

Now I see why the Cowboys drafted Ezekiel Elliott, he fits right in with the team. Apparently while in Seattle, Elliott visited a marijuana store and Jerry Jones wasn't happy with that(even though it's legal in Seattle). There is also growing concern within the organization about his pattern of disturbing behavior and there's an investigation in Columbus, OH of "alleged" domestic violence. Something to keep an eye on.

49ers FB Bruce Miller was arrested for spousal for punching 2 men. Right after, the 49ers wasted no time releasing him.

Quote

The report said Miller tried to check into the Fisherman’s Wharf Marriott Hotel last night, but was told there were no vacancies. He returned later and knocked on a guest room door. When the guest told him he had the wrong room, Miller allegedly attacked the man and his 70-year-old father, who was also in the room.

Prior to this, last year he was arrested for spousal battery in March 2015.

Now Bills Right Tackle Seantrel Henderson has been suspended 4 games for violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy.

And those extra workouts don't seem to have helped. :D

Surprised the Browns had liquor on the plane.  A lot of teams have stopped that.

Yeah, after the Manziel fiasco that one is truly a head-scratcher.

Browns RG Alvin Bailey was arrested for a DUI. He admitted he had several whiskeys on the plane ride home and continued partying and drinking after the team got back to Cleveland.

So like the Browns to celebrate a "moral" victory like an actual victory.

If I was on the Browns, I'd be drinking heavily too. I just wouldn't drive after. Maybe he stashed his own bottle for the flight home.

Just saw Randy Gregory is suspended for an additional 10 games on top of the 4 he's already serving so he's not eligible until week 15.  Wow, I guess all the draft chatter is being justified so far with this kid.

Its such a head scratcher to me that guys fail a test then turn around a fail second test consecutively.

I was so shocked when Ravens TE Boyle was popped twice in short time frame ( it was like wow what's this guy thinking. )
