Yeah pretty much, I am mainly speaking from the humor perspective. Feel bad for anyone who takes that stuff seriously lol

Thought this was good:

This scumbag needs to be removed from the game. Yes he can take Hardy with him

she didn't turn up to court to give evidence because he paid her off. If she did, he'd likely have been jailed by all accounts.

He also obviously knew this, hence the pay off.

Is what happened to her wrong? Absolutely, but she took the payoff rather than standing trial, and that's why he isn't jailed.

I think it was more fear than "taking a payoff"...  I mean, that's such a typical response.  Even the attorney's wouldn't tell them where she was.  Could he have said "I'll give you X if you don't show up"?  possibly, but that doesn't stop the DA from pressing charges in a criminal case.

HE'S A SCUMBAG ARNIE..... They need to run his butt out of Football.  If Rice and McDonald aren't good enough to get a second chance, then this guy certainly isn't either.

Burfict suspended first 3 games of the 2016 season for "repeated violations of safety rules"

Just got notification on nfl.com mobile app.

Well.... I say this suspension is complete BS. The NFL has announced that Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict has been suspended for the first 3 games of 2016.

He's a repeat offender and has a history and only gets 3 games???? Why not a full season? My gosh the league office has lost their damn mind with these suspensions and fines.

Vontaze Burfict has been suspended for the first three games of the 2016 regular-season, per NFL.

If the NFL does anything right, both the Ravens and Steelers should play the Bengals during the suspension. After that hit on Maxx, we are due some payback.

Burfict is a punk, but that's not new news.

I bet Baltimore will play Cincy in week 4.

I have a feeling after what happened, Cincy/Pittsburgh will open up the 2016 season on SNF(don't see Pittsburgh winning the SB) and the league will use the ending of the playoff game to draw big ratings for the first SNF game of the year.

As for us..... yeah I can see that happening and then the annual tradition of playing them in week 17 continues lol.

As a Bengals fan, I wish they would just suspend Burfict indefinitely or do away with him. He's just completely out of control. That guy belongs in the NFL of the 60s/70s,, and even then would be a little too much for that.

Bengals don't need that "you know what".

They went 6-0 without him to start the year anyway.

NFL needs to stiffen up with punishments. Far too many seriously low character guys are allowed to play in the league after just "slap on the wrists". It's getting ridiculous.

Looks like Saturday set an arrest record for fans at the Bengals game. http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2016/01/10/6-arrested-assaults-during-bengals-game/78590842/

Geez. I'm glad that trash got arrested. Moronic behavior is moronic behavior, no matter who does it. "People punching women in the face" and "Throwing beer cans into people's faces causing lacerations" is absolutely inexcusable.

And, whoever that piece of crap was that threw a can/bottle at Ben as he was being carted off, deserved to be arrested and humiliated for the piece of trash they are. I REALLY hope the security at PBS found that dope that threw the bottle and kicked his "you know what" all the way out. They also deserve a permanent ban from attending any future games.

Having attended PBS on many occasions,, I've found/encountered many level-headed, nice, and cordial people. Every fan base has complete "jerks" in them. Every one. But, that certainly does not mean that every person in that fan base is exactly like that trash. That couldn't be further from the truth.

I've encountered many cool Philly and Steelers fans. Of course those 2 fan bases have reputations and some trashy morons that go with it. But, those classless acting people do not account/represent the entire base. Not even close.

Plz,, plz don't think that the actions of a few classless, moronic, ignorant, trashy people represent what the entire fan base is like. It's not the truth. I'm 100% positive that most level-headed Cincy fans are completely embarrased and disgusted by the classless actions of a few. I know I am.

Ya know, I said a quick prayer for any steeler fan trying to get out of that stadium that night.  It was all so ugly.

One thing in that report caught my attention.

"a typical Bengals game sees two or three arrests"

That is NUTS !!!!!!!!   Maybe I am being naive but does M&T see two or three arrests typically ?

Lol. Sry it was such a long vent. Although I realize it's natural to associate moronic actions of one person to the entire group,, it just bothers me when it happens (no matter what group it is).

Also,, I've never personally witnessed any real trouble at PBS before (and I've been there lots if times). Only once have I seen a couple intoxicated people come close to getting in some trouble,, but it never materialized. I'm not surprised that it would happen though in a crowd of 60,000 or so (always a ton of opponents fans in Cincy too,, but I've never had any issue).

That article mentioned about half the culprits were Bengals fans and the other culprits were Steelers fans. I'm sure there were moronic fans of both teams starting stuff somewhere.

Don't apologize for how you really feel. I loved it. Your hatred for the Sleelers rivals ours.

"This is Vontaze Burfict's first suspension, but he has a past littered with fines:

* 2015 Week 17: $50K for unnecessarily contacting an opponent who was out of the play vs. Ravens
* 2015 Week 14: A total of $69,454 for roughing the passer, face mask and unnecessary roughness penalties
* 2014 Week 6: $25K for twisting the ankles of Cam Newton and Greg Olsen
* 2013 Week 8: $21K for hitting Stephen Hill with the crown of his helmet
* 2013 Week 6: $7,875 for a face mask penalty vs. Bills' Fred Jackson
* 2013 Week 3: A total of $31K combined for hit on a defenseless player and striking an opponent in the groin" (this was the BengalsvsGreenBay game)

-- ESPN Stats & Information

This list isn't complete.  This list doesn't even include his hit on Torrey Smith and the hit on Joe Flacco where Burfict got a concussion. That hit still makes me shudder to think of the damage it could have done. Burfict even took out a cameraman and deliberately knocked over an 80K camera. It is beyond comprehension how Burfict has not been suspended before now. He has been doing this mess since 2010 during his college career. It is the reason he went undrafted.  From 2010 and now its 2016 and still no change in his behavior or his play.  What else does the NFL need to see for God's sake???  Wait until he cripples a player for life???   He has no place in this league, period!

As much as I dislike the Roethlisberger and the Steelers this just isn't right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Hz7TKhBAJk
