They should start handing out suspensions for EVERY arrest that they are proved guilty of. I don't care if it's 1 game, 4 games or whatever, but there NEED to be some punishment. Doesn't matter if you get arrested for spitting on the sidewalk in some state that it's not allowed, no exceptions.

The teams are paying their players so high salaries that they should be able to stay out of trouble.

RB Derrick Ward has seen enough headlines of players getting arrested for drunk driving. He went off on a Twitter rant about it and I mean a LONG Rant. For that reason I separated it by space so you can see it as PFT just jumbled it into one big paragraph.

Yes that’s right dumb! I’m sitting here retired enjoyed a great career now all I want to do is become a fan and I see numerous arrest for DWI in the past several weeks? How many has it been this week 4? Absolutely ridiculous your not only putting yourself in danger but your putting other innocent people in danger that don’t deserve your stupidity. Open your eyes and do the right thing.

I know what its like to get go out get drunk and debate on weather to drive home or not. Call a taxi! So what if u spend some money to take one or U get a ticket on your car in the am when u go bac 2 get it At least u won’t have to pay bail and then lawyer fees and then miss game checks from being suspended for a few games. Damn this really has me furious and its so avoidable.

Another Lion???? I can't believe nobody said NFC North or another player from the Lions lol. This is just getting out of control right now. This was Berry's second arrest in 30 days. On June 26th he was arrested for Drunk Driving and this time arrested 3 counts of simple assault.

Berry apparently pointed a firearm at 3 different people last night.

A lot of these arrests are DUIs and other drunk driving incidents. It's not so much that the NFL is filled with horrible people, it's mostly that players are acting really stupid, not understanding the possible consequences of drinking and driving.

Anyone else think its ridiculous we have to pin an nfl arrest thread? Maybe its because im a hermit but grow up gentleman. My life almost ended and I was an inch from being paralized due to someones drunk driving. Hopefully this crap comes to an end with camps opening up

Yeah I pinned it so people know where to put any and all arrests in so we don't have multiple threads. Though with the high rate of arrests, I just decided to leave it pinned because at this rate, we know something else is going to happen.
