I loved the comments about how it's alright because they signed Blaine Gabbert.

I hope justice prevails. I dont care for Kaepernick one bit, specifically for whining about Richard Sherman when he did the same thing to Cam Newton. But no reason to judge him on this yet, for all I know he could have been fixing sandwiches downstairs.

To be fair, she hasn't been named in all of this. At this stage, the theory I've heard that makes the most sense is that she woke up, had no idea what went on and wanted to get a few answers. Police have said there's no evidence of anything sexual going on, and she hasn't alleged anything - all she's done is ask for a report.

Remarkably enough, it sounds like they did. Who'd have thought the media would overhype a story with still a month left before the draft?

The facts are that she drank too much, added weed to the mix, got naked in bed, kissed Kaepernick before he left the room, the other two guys walked in, and she blacked out after that and got taken to hopsital in the meantime. Feel free to add anything there, but from what I've read those are the facts that no-one seems to be denying (aside from Kaepernick, who swears he was in Canada with his girlfriend who lives there and helping out orphans).

 

Something dodgy could have gone on, but she equally could also have just passed out from the cocktail of substances in her body and got taken to hospital and wanted to know what happened - not an unusual occurrence and had that been three normal blokes I don't think there'd be as much suspicion. Although the law doesn't tend to help rape victims as much as it should, I think treating everything else as speculation until the investigation comes out is the best way to go.

 

"Nothing" probably isn't the best word, but as someone who makes a living working in the media I can have a good guess as to how the morning news meeting would have gone down in TMZ.

Aldon Smith is in troooouble. He got arrested at LAX after "being belligerent in a security line and saying something about a bomb."

49ers seem to be hit hard with legal trouble as of late. If the 49ers stick with Aldon after this, boy will their level of respect for them go down.
