Arrest / Fine / Suspension Thread

Let me get this straight, the incident involving the weapons occurred in June of 2012 which means it happened BEFORE the beginning of last season. How does that work? You get busted with a small arsenal of illegal weapons and then are allowed to work and make millions of dollars over the course of an entire NFL season? That doesn't seem right at all...

Apparently you don't realize just how backed up and ineffective the justice system is.  I'm not surprised by the delay at all.

I feel like if he was just your run of the mill criminal he wouldn't have been permitted to be free all this time on pending felony charges. I credit his well paid lawyers.... which is another flaw in our judicial system.

It involves an NFL player, but he won't be getting arrested over it since he wasn't responsible. Apparently, Adrian Peterson's two year old son is hospitalized in critical condition with "head injuries that appeared to be consistent with abuse." Peterson's ex-girlfriend's boyfriend has been arrested for aggravated assault and aggravated battery of an infant.

The perpetrator had a history of domestic violence (last half or so of the following article), so that might not be the worst idea, seeing as he clearly didn't learn his lesson the first few times...

I really hate to do a update on this but now he is on life support after the beating.

To beat anyone up to where they are on life support, let alone a 2-year old, is sickening! Jail time would be too easy for this guy at this point especially with his history.

What the hell is wrong with people....a 2 year old? My thoughts also go out to the defenders that will be playing AP this week.

AP's son has died, according to Schefter. What a horrible thing to happen to anyone.

Thats horrible. He said he'd play but after this I doubt it.

Just put him in prison with the general population.

Prison is too easy. If he has a history of domestic violence, the fact that if he would have been put in jail sooner would have saved AP's son. Yet he wasn't and an innocent person was killed.

Vikings WR Jerome Simpson was arrested for a DWI charge. He was arrested when he refused a breathalyzer and was booked at 5:39a.m.

This will not be good for Simpson as he was put on 3-year probation in April 2012 after he pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge.

Was he suspended by the league for the drug thing? I'm too lazy to look it up lol. If so he will probably suspended again

But why does anybody from the National Football League continue to get arrested for DWI. They have a silver spoon taxi service to prevent that thing do they not?

Get arrested for something else for crying out loud!

Oh hey, another Viking got arrested. This time it's Erin Henderson, for (what else?) probable cause of DWI. He also got nabbed for possession of a controlled substance.

This is the third Vikings arrest since November 9th, with Jerome Simpson's DUI and AJ Henderson's probable cause of domestic violence.

DRIVERS. HIRE THEM.

Not sure where else to put this. Wild Child Jadaveon Clowney got ticketed after zipping through the highway at 110 mph.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/10111471/south-carolina-gamecocks-jadeveon-clowney-gets-speeding-ticket-driving-110-mph

Won't hurt his stock at all and teams will be more concerned about him taking plays off than a speeding ticket. A couple Browns players got ticketed for going over 100MPH and didn't get any punishment.

DWI? I guess the fear of snowballs made him drink... too soon?
