What can you say, the guy is AWESOME! I was sitting in the endzone in 2004 (I think) when he intercepted a pass off Cleveland at the back of the endzone and ran it back for what was the longest play for a TD. It still stands as the longest INT returned for a TD. To see him come across the back of the endzone, take the pass off the tops of his shoes and race downt he sideline was a sight to behold.

I bet it was.. His interceptions are always soo smooth and perfect looking! Like the ball wasn't thrown bad.. the receiver wasent evn bad.. its just reed coming out of nowhere and catching the ball

he also has the record for most interception yards in a season. If anyone can find that special int against the Brownies I will love you forever!

if you go on pretty much any Ed Reed highlight video on youtube it'll have it on there.

I'd go get one for you but you already love me forever, so that seems kinda pointless...

Reed and Lewis are good at reading the play and don't have to be on top of the receiver every second. I think guys like Ivy try to copy them, but don't have that skill yet and they get burned a lot.

Does anybody remember when Ed Reed blocked that punt in the 4th quarter against the Seahawks and we came back to win in OT. That was the greatest game ever.

What happened to the punt blocking Ed Reed? I remember when I use to watch the game hoping the other team would throw the ball just for the fact that Ed Reed was on the field knowing sooner or later the Ravens were gonna get an interception. Just a matter of time. Now I watch the game praying the other team doesn't start passing thinking plz dont let them go deep, plz dont let them convert on 3rd down, plzthrow an incompletion. I get nervous when the other team starts passing cuz I just feel at any moment they're going to score. What happened to all the interceptions we use to make?

1 thing tho Ed Reed is still a beast and I'm calling it here, Ed Reed picks Anderson and takes it to the house.

i think if reed was a 100% then we could question him but like cmac hes playing thru injury. ivy is short but i dont think that should stop him from being a good player. i think he needs to learn how to ball hawk better cuz hes out of place sometimes

Hate to burst your bubble ravensgirlx88, but.... that's Chris McAllister picking off Jeff Blake back in 2003 at Arizona, not Ed Reed.
Reed did block a punt in this game, but C-Mac is the one running the INT back for a TD.
2/3rds of the earth is covered by water, the rest is covered by Ed Reed. :D
I generally don't like making replies just to say, "good one", but...

"Good one!"

Thanks for posting that. Ed is such a "ball hog" and seems to have a 6th sense as to where to position himself to make a play. He is probably the best safety in the NFL now. GO RAVENS

You can tell it's C-mac because he and Reed have really different strides. Reed brings his feet up higher at the back and C-mac takes longer strides with a smaller backlift.

Also I think (but I'm not sure) Ed usually wears black gloves and Chris wears white ones.
