Might as well, I'd do the same thing.

But you never know you could post a five game win streak and be back in the thick of things. I hear Jennings will be testing out this week. The guy is in a contract year, he REALLY wants to be on the field to earn that contract (Because GB isn't going to give it to him).

I'd do that but I can't stand losing so this 1-6 isn't working for me.

So.. Willing to trade Ray Rice for a WR/RB combo, and Jennings for a RB if anyone is interested lmk.

well to be fair you did have like 3 weeks to try and turn your team around but you kind froze in place. Last weekend there was nothing you could do because of work, but you did have foster as trade bait to try and acquire pieces.

Ehh my laziness I guess.. Annoying trying to do everything from a phone.. Just focusing on my top 3 leagues and just setting the lineups for the other 3 week by week..
Never got over the scoring for this one

I meant to start Brees but coming off the BYE I forgot to put him back on haha. Epic fail on my part but it didn't backfire mainly because that Falcons guy's team sucks.

It makes him seem like a homer but he actually got those guys (especially) Roddy White at really good value. Getting Roddy White in the middle of the 3rd round in a 16 team ppr league is pretty hard to pass up.

I remember wanting him to fall six more spots and I would've taken him.

Yeah...WRs...PPR stud WRs did not get drafted where they should have in this league. I got Brandon Marshall early in the 2nd which is about right, but I got Welker late in the 3rd which is really really unbelievable.

Some people just love their RBs...lol

Who loves his rbs

Sizzle loves his rbs

Is it true?

I do I do I do-oooooooooooo!

Anyway I disagree with your premise about wide receivers not getting drafted where they should have been. Julio and Megatron were taken in the first, and with the position being so deep, and rb having so many ? I think there were taken at the right time. You can get away with playing hit or miss with wide receivers, its very hard to do that with runningbacks.

I saw a lot of qss go earlier than expected. and actually 9th is about right for what his ADP was at the time (I remember it being 8th)

Guess everyone was okay with my trade.

If it wasnt PPR I would agree with you, but WRs Like Welker and White get significant boosts in value in PPR leagues. For them to last to around pick 40 was crazy. I was never that high on Julio...the fact that he was the 2nd WR taken is odd to me.

Yea but you have to remember at the beginning of the season that both of these players had huge question marks. Welker and his contract vs White competing with Julio. Even white thought he wasnt gonna match his catches for the year.

The reports out of camp, preseason games, and the talent flashed by Julio easily made him the second best wide out. While Green has been better, he has had creampuff matchups, by year's end I would be surprised if Julio isnt the number 1 fantasy wide out.

You still think Julio will be #1? He is far too inconsistent. White is Ryan's go to guy.

Are you who I was arguing Green vs Jones with? I was sooo right about AJ. He is the only real target there and in the end he is just better than Julio.

I was also on the Green wagon in that discussion. The guy is playing like a beast #1. Doesn't matter who is opposite of him. I said in that discussion that Julio would have a nice year but it would be like a rollercoaster. Green would be the consistent option.

But I agree with Sizzle about Preseason positioning Both Welker and White had their question marks which made them fall in most leagues. I was actually very high on White not so much Welker. I knew White would continue to rack up catches. Julio actually grew on me as PS progressed where I eventually had him ranked pretty high.

Don't think it was me, but dont get me wrong. I like Green better a reciever, but Cincy gives no reason to teams to not double or triple team him and as good as Green is theres only so much he can do. Julio has plenty to take attention off of him and Atlanta wants to throw. He also has been dealing with a hand injury which is why his production went down, we should see him return to form this week possibly next week (since they play the eagles this week)

Well it's not that I was (or am) down on Julio, I still think he is a top 10 WR, but I kind of see things exactly opposite of you. Yes, Jones won't receive the attention that AJ does because White and Gonzo are threats. However, those two also take a ton of targets away from him. Green on the other hand is the #1 in Cinci and no one else is even close. He is their deep threat, their RZ threat, and he can run any route in the book. While Cinci doesnt have the talent Atlanta does (they also have an inferior QB), Hawkins, Binns, Sanu, etc are not awful. I just prefer the guy who is guaranteed the majority of targets and has the talent to do something with them, kind of like Megatron in Detroit.

All that hoopla about Greg Jennings seems to be for nothing. Apparently he is having surgery for his injury. He hasn't been ruled out for the season, but it will be several weeks.

Good news for Cobb (ER) and Jones owners.

I mean thats a fair assertion, but if AJ is the only guy, you have to question how many of those opportunities will be gotten and converted. As we saw against pitt on Sunday night, AJ didnt get many opportunities ( 1 catch) but he made the most of them (1 catch 1 td).

What do you mean, have to question how of those opportunities will be converted? He has been dominant this season. Clearly he is doing just that.

Yep. AJ Green has scored in every game this season except for the 1st one against us. That's exceptional. He had one bad game in 7 so far, and in that game he still gets a TD.

He does it all for the Bengals but most importantly he's one of the best redzone options in the league. You can't ask for much more.

Luckily the guy I am playing this week has him on a bye (and in his starting lineup).

First I hate inactive suicide bomber owners

Second look at the matchups where Green has had good production. They were all creampuffs that any decent receiver should light up. No offense to those teams but thats how it is. Green has done it well and he should get credit for that, but that has no bearing on his second half schedule (which is infinitley harder than the cake walk he had for the first 6 or 7 games.

The matchups where he has done poorly (Pitt, and Balt) were because the teams essentially took Green out of the game by shifting coverage towards him. This resulted in Dalton being forced to look elsewhere which didnt work out because Cincy doesnt have any other playmakers on offense to take pressure off Green. His other matchups where he has done well, either did not have the playmakers to take Green out or tried to single cover him with limited help.

What I mean is this. Green may get all of the opportunities to produce, but my question is how many total opportunities will there be? I mean if Cincy operate on its side of the field the whole game (like we saw with pitt for the most part), then Green's chances to get TD's are limited which limits his production. Now he can still do it via yards, but as we saw with pitt defenses are gonna force dalton to go elsewhere. Thats the formula for beating Cincy.

And thats the difference between Julio and Green. While Green may be Cincy's offense and will try to have the offense run through him, good defenses know this and are gonna force dalton to beat him using his other so called weapons on offense. Think what the bears did to Megatron. They played 2 deep safeties to help their corners cover Megatron and basically dared the Lions to run the whole game. This took Megatron out of the game completely for the first half.

Julio's production on the other hand will mainly come down to if he can beat his single coverage which as we have seen, he can easily do when healthy. Does he have to compete with Roddy, yes of course, but when your throwing the ball 40 times a game he should get enough looks where it will just be a matter of converting them and getting open.

tldr: Julio has it easier than A.J. basically since he will only have to deal with single coverage vs AJ who will probably see double the rest of the way.
