I hope so. Depending on how he plays this year I think he may play another.

Seriously. He may have three years left. Impossibly, maybe more.* Can you see him hanging up his cleats? I cant even visualize it, lol. Its a wonderful problem to have.

*ok, prolly not three more, but its Ray <freaking> LEWIS

He'll retire as soon as we win our next superbowl. Which will be sometime in the next 3 years.

CAN? yes. No question.
will he? Baring injury, he plays until he gets another ring.

Agree with this. He is in incredible shape, so physically he is definitely capable. The question is will he want to play 3 more seasons.

Thats what i think. Ray Lewis 2 more years pls.

With Ed Reed (my favorite player of all time), I think this might be his last.

Damn I didn't know this was gonna happen but Ray's in London for the next few days working out the London Warriors, a British football team! Not sure if location restrictions apply on this video but check it out...

Here's an article about it...

it would be awesome =).
Hate to say it but im going to keep it real and say i highly doubt it. And if he is was playing 3 yrs from now, i believe he would be hurting the Team. He would be doing more harm than good and i think he would know that. Now im not saying that for this season or maybe even next.

I just wish we make the SB and Win so Ray can Retire with no regrets, i gotta feeling if he retires, he would feel like his career was incomplete. Which is totally opposite from the truth, im just saying that's maybe how he would feel. I know thats what is driving him to play right now, i don't blame him either. For the last few seasons, this team has come so dam close every year and end from just a play away from making the Big Game.

That would drive me Crazy, OH WAIT, It has been driving me crazy, lolol

he has the durability no question but i think it depends on his patience level with the organization and the urgency of the team to take the next step and win it all. no doubt he retires if he gets the ring.

This is what I was thinking. Win it and my bets is he'll hang it up.

I feel Ray will play, barring serious injury, until he gets another ring or his contract runs out. Whichever comes first. I think he has 4 more years remaining on his contract including this season. That's only if the teams' play doesn't subside. If the team begins to slip in the division, it may happen alot sooner.

It's tough to imagine the Baltimore Ravens without Ray Lewis, so I want to think he'll play another three years or maybe even more. But I just can't believe he'll be playing in the 2014 season. He'll play this year, and he might even be back the next season, but the human body can only take so much. Every year older players feel the aches and pains a little bit more, and it makes them think a little bit longer about whether they want to keep dragging themselves out of bed and over to the field.

No more than two more years, and maybe just one.

Eh. I'd love him too, but would his body be able to? Also I'm completely fine with him wanting to retire after we win a Super Bowl. What a way to go in such a spectacular fashion.

This is what I believe. The only change is if we win the SB this year he'll retire on top. I'm absolutely certain of that.

I think Ray has too much pride so when he sees his game slipping and he can no longer be a 3 down LB he will step away. Honestly, I believe this could be his last year.

I don't see 3 years happening, I think at most 2. It would be awesome, though. Ideally I'd love to snatch a young ILB (if we could snag Manti Te'O assuming he falls within range - doubtful but you never know) in next year's draft and have him sit behind Ray for a season or two before taking over. Nobody will ever replace Ray, but if Ray has some time to impart wisdom on a young guy the way he's done for Jameel, we'll be in great shape when he leaves.

I mean yeah he can do it now, but there's a big difference between 37 and 40. Especially with linebackers.

Is it possible, okay yeah it is I'll give you that. But he probably won't be as effective by then, as much as I hate to say it.
